Easter comes from the root word east, which is a reference to where the sun rises because this is a celebration of the pagan sun god’s conception. Churches have “sunrise services,” in honor of Easter (Semiramis’s pregnancy with Tammuz), believing they are giving honor to Jesus, when they are actually committing abomination in the sight of God.
Many Christians are deceived into following pagan Easter celebrations by leaders within the Christian community because “…many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed” 2 Peter 2:2
Easter Sunrise Service
And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz. Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east. And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear. Ezekiel 8:13-18
It is the identical thing millions are doing every Easter Sunday morning—the sunrise service—standing with their faces toward the east, as the sun is rising, in a service of worship which honors the sun god and his mythical idolatrous consort, goddess Easter. Yes, deceived into believing this is Christian, millions practice every Easter the identical form of the ancient sun worship of the sun god Baal! Throughout the Bible this is revealed as the most abominable of all idolatry in the sight of the Eternal Creator.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.” 11 Corinthians 6:14-18
The Word Easter in the King James Version
The Greek word, “πασχα (pascha)”, is correctly translated as “Passover” 28 times in the New Testament KJV. In Acts 12:4 KJV “pascha” has been mistranslated as “Easter.”
“The problem with those who support the word “Easter” in Acts 12:4 KJV is that they avoid and distort the main question and issue which is God’s Word “pascha.” The word “pascha” is “Passover.” It is God’s Word for His Holy Feast which He sacrificed His very Son on. God did not change His Word to mean anything else, ever! The idea that God referred to His Holy Feast 28 times correctly and then suddenly changed it’s meaning to an idolatrous pagan festival is unfathomable to me. If God wanted to refer to “Easter” another word most certainly would have been used and not this supposed hybrid innovation where God’s Holy “Passover” is changed to the Word “Easter.” They are not only not similar words but are in fact extreme opposites in what they represent. In a world full of treachery, lies and deceit it is comforting to meditate on Jesus Christ’s answer to Pilate’s question, “What is truth?” Jesus gave the solution to Pilate’s question in fact before the words even came out of the Roman leader’s mouth. Pilate just refused to hear what Jesus told him. Quoting from John 18:37, “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” All who hearken to Christ’s Words will be led to the truth of Life and will receive His promise of salvation and deliverance from the wrath which is soon to come. If you have not turned to the Living Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins (for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23), repent (godly sorrow) and put your complete faith in ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life,” who paid for the sins of the world by His atoning blood sacrifice when He was pierced upon the cross – the Risen Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
