Peter S. Ruckman – Racist and Dangerous Deceiver

Except from ‘Geoffrey Grider/Now The End Begins- Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing:

“These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; Jude 1:12.

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3.

It must have been sometime back in the mid-90’s, when I was introduced to a brother by the name of Scott Lyman. Scott attended a small Baptist church near where I lived, and he was excited to hand me a Bible teaching cassette tape from someone by the name of Peter Ruckman of Pensacola, Florida. That was my introduction to the ‘good doctor’ of scripture.

Over the years, I would purchase many such tapes from Dr. Ruckman, then DVD’s, and finally an entire library shelf of Bible commentaries.”

By his own admission, Grider is well versed in Ruckman’s “biblical truths.”

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45.

“Peter Ruckman reveals the only reason he did not join the KKK, but otherwise agrees with everything they say

The Ku Klux Klan’s like that. I’ll tell you why I never joined the Ku Klux Klan. It’s because they’re anti-semitic. And that’s the only reason I didn’t join. [laughs heartely] I mean, I agree with everything else they say. But the trouble is when you get out that way, that extreme right-wing, you begin to turn against that Jew, and I ain’t gonna turn against that Jew.”

There is nothing else Ruckman said about the KKK in the context. The video can be seen on Youtube (the statements can be found at the 22-minute mark). “Dr. Ruckman 1993 Questions and Answers”

You may think that since Ruckman is against anti-semitism, and the Jews are God’s chosen people, that he would speak kindly of them overall (with allowance for disagreements over doctrinal differences of course). But notice what he says two minutes later in the same video, but also how he manages to slip in a suttle jab at another race and we all know who it is:

[24 minute mark] “But, because God chose him you have to love him [the Jew], you have to love him. And if you don’t, God will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee, so you gotta be careful. And it’s kinda hard to be careful. I don’t know if you have–you don’t have a lot of Jews in North Carolina, or at least back in the mountains you don’t. And if you do, they behave themselves, ’cause they’re kind of outnumbered. But ah, but you take a city Jew, a citified Jew like Chicago, or New York, they are the most repulsive people in this world, man! I guess, out of sight of another group I know of. (chuckles) The closest I ever came to hitting a fella was a Jewish pawn broker in Chicago.

Any child of God who is familiar with the history and reputation of the KKK should be disgusted by Ruckman’s statement that he agrees with everything else the KKK says except for their views on a group that two minutes later he describes as “the most repulsive people in this world” (outside of another group)! This was not a laughing matter, regardless of the race in question. Yet Ruckmanites continue to make light of it such as declaring that it’s no big deal because everyone knows no one is perfect. However—the Bible teaches, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them” (Romans 16:17). It is high time that the Bible admonition be taken seriously in this matter.”

At the 25 minute mark of this video Ruckman’s evil remarks and actions reveal his hatred for the Jewish people when he showed his affection for German military marching bands, German soldiers, and then moves the podium to demonstrate the goose step associated with Nazi Germany. And how he played a German military marching band recording, which he had mixed using a deck of playing cards to create the sound of jack boots hitting the ground, for a blind Jewish man that he didn’t like just to make him sweat.

For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. Deuteronomy 18:12.

Like Ruckman, Geoffrey Grider shows no love for the Jewish people: “You will be banned if…you use anti-semitic language. You don’t have to love the Jews, just respect them.” Now The End Begins, Comment Policy.

Further evidence of Peter Ruckman’s racist remarks can be found in his Ruckman Referense Bible, 2009. It should come as no surprise that Grider is now offering this Reference Bible free of charge, as he considers it to be the best Bible Commentary ever produced.

“We had been giving out nice, quality King James Bibles for free for awhile, and people seemed to like them. But the bible I really wanted to put into people’s hands was the Ruckman Reference Bible, something that I personally consider to be the best commentary bible ever produced. But they are not cheap, with even the plain paper ‘economy’ model starting at $24.95, and I just didn’t have the funds for that. But I prayed about it, and lo and behold, an on-fire NTEB reader sent me in a check for $1,000 for the “free bible program”. Wow, I was floored. It wasn’t really a program, just something God put on my heart to do, but here was a nice-sized check for the “free bible program”, and that could only mean one thing. Ruckman Reference bibles! Right away, I called my friends at the Bible Baptist Bookstore in Pensacola, and ordered a bunch of cases of RRB’s, and when they arrived a few days later we started packing them up and sending them out. Exciting stuff!”Geoffrey Grider, NTEB, May 22, 2020.

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. 2 John:9-11.

Ruckman Reference Bible, 2009, Genesis, notes in the body of the text:

“As expected, Ruckman starts off teaching the gap theory in Genesis 1, lamenting that people even call it a theory. By Genesis 2 he is already teaching that Adam’s salvation was by works. He calls all teaching to the contrary regarding Old Testament salvation “irreligious claptrap.” In this same chapter he is already into racist jabs, stating: “In northern Alabama, Negros used to eat red clay out of the clay hills on Sunday afternoon with spoons to get back their original color.” In chapter 3 he is teaching that the lack of sweat due to air-conditioning is causing people’s bodies to be full of poison by the age of forty, in which circumstance we can only survive with medicines and operations. Ruckman starts chapter four with his wondering imagination stating: “This means that the Bible implies, without stating it directly, that some kind of a sexual union could have taken place between Eve and the ‘angel of light’ (see 2 Cor. 11:14).” Under Genesis 8:21 Ruckman has a comment which is characteristic of his twisted view of God: “The printed record that God gives of what he thinks about you is the greatest ‘hate literature’ ever assembled on earth.” Under Genesis 10:2, he has a list as to what people from different nationalities and races have been labeled. Some of the labels are non-offensive, while others are unchristian [absolute wickedness]….”Black man is a “n*****”, “J***** B****” or a P**** M*****.”

Ruckman’s list as to what people of different nationalities and races have been labeled:

Promoting Ruckman’s racist and heretical Reference Bible as “the best Commentary Bible ever produced” is just one more reason to shun Geoffrey Grider and so deliver your soul out of his dangerous snares.

They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; With flattering lips and a double heart they speak. Psalm 12:2.

“I…have done my best my entire life to stand against racism in all its many forms.” Geoffrey Grider, January 30, 2021.

It is also a noticeable fact that Ruckman taught killing an unborn baby is not murder. Peter Ruckman’s Abortion Heresy Exposed.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1.

Anti-semetic, white supremist Peter Ruckman, as with most cult leaders taught many “doctrines of demons” including:

We believe that history is absolute proof that “race-mixers” are mentally sick (Deut. 32:8). (Peter Ruckman, Twenty-Two Years of the Bible Believers’ Bulletin Volume #7 Strictly Personal. 2004, p. 112)

The serpent seed heresy, Satan committed adultery with Eve: “The verses [2 Corinthians 11:2-3] IMPLY (see John 8:44 and 1 John 3:12) that some type of sexual transaction took place between Eve and Satan. Whatever it was, it affected her body fluids, and it caused a conception, if it happened.” (Peter Ruckman’s Bible References: Personal Notes on Salient Verses in the Bible, p. 278)

All women in the Church Age will receive thirty-three year old male bodies at the Rapture: “Since every Christian in the Body of Christ has a MAN inside him (or her) (Col. 1:27; John 1:12) and is PREDESTINATED to be conformed to the image of that man (2 Cor. 4:4; Rom. 8:29; 1 John 3:1-4; Phil. 3:21), there is no question at all about the future state of every Christian in the Body of Christ, except in the minds of Hebrew and Greek professors and the “vast majority of conservative, Bible-rejecting blockheads.” The believer will appear in glory as a 33-year old sinless male.” (Peter Ruckman, 22 Years of the Bible Believer’s Bulletin Vol. 1 “The AV Holy Bible” p. 110)

The plan of salvation for Tribulation saints is faith plus works and the plan of salvation in the Millennium is works alone: “Before the Rapture, you could have been saved by grace through faith plus nothing (Ephesians 2:8-9), but one minute after the Rapture took place you must get out the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule and start learning them, because you’re going to be judged by them (Matthew 25:31-46).” (Peter Ruckman, Millions Disappear. 1989, p. 23)

Ruckman’s teaching of six different plans of salvation in the Book of Acts alone: “The book of Acts consistently presents the same keys, the same plan of salvation. It does if you are as blind as blind Bartimaeus on a weekend drunk—just as blind as a bat backing into a blizzard. There are SIX “plans of salvation” in the book of Acts, as God continued to reveal more light on “the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24) (which was not revealed to Peter; it was revealed to Paul—Gal. 1, 2). Peter himself testifies to Paul’s “plan of salvation” in Acts 15:11. Read it. I said, “Read it.” Read it or shut your big, tongue-wagging blabber mouth.”

Salvation by repentance and water baptism with NO tongues as evidence in a single convert (Acts 2:38).

Salvation by belief and water baptism without any convert speaking in tongues (Acts 8:12).

Salvation by grace through faith before water baptism or tongues (Acts 10:44).

Salvation by grace through faith after water baptism (Acts 19:2–6).

Salvation by belief and baptism without getting the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:16).

Salvation by grace through faith without tongues or water baptism (Acts 8:37) and without tongues or laying on of hands (Acts 8:38).” (Bible Believers’ Bulletin January. 2007, p. 16)

“When the believer is born again, his soul is literally cut loose from the inside of his fleshly body: “In a saved man, the Holy Spirit has cut the flesh away from the soul and spirit (see Col. 2:11-13). That body has a spirit connected with it that is different from the new spirit that lives inside of you.” (Peter Ruckman, The Book of Romans: The Bible Believer’s Commentary Series. Pensacola, FL: BB Bookstore, 2003, p. 265)

Sexual unions constitute marriage in God’s sight: “Flesh joining flesh” makes a man and woman, “man and wife” (Matt. 19:4-6; 1 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 5:31).
(Peter Ruckman, The Ruckman Reference Bible, 2009, p. 499)

The flood mentioned in 2 Peter 3 is not Noah’s flood but is one that supposedly occurred at the judgment of the earth, when Satan was cast out of Heaven [The Gap Theory]. He admits that no other Bible teacher has held this view: “Now who could get a message so simple all muddled up? Answer: Every major fundamental Bible scholar and teacher in the United States, without one exception. If you were to ask Henry Morris what the verses refer to he’d say Noah’s flood.” (Peter Ruckman, The Unknown Bible, p. 67)

Ruckman’s teaching is similar to Mormon doctrine: “God has ordained on this earth 12 boundaries, with 12 nations, who are destined to leave this earth (transported by angels– Luke 16:22), and populate outerspace infinitely and forever, beginning with the 12 constellations that are seen on the earth once every 12 months.” (Peter Ruckman, The Unknown Bible, p. 588)

“In eternity, THE CHRISTIAN IS IN NEW JERUSALEM; he is in his apartment house that is made out of transparent gold, like clear glass. … He is called out on trips, and these trips take him to Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, etc. transporting couples into gardens placing them down and saying, ‘be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth.“ (Peter Ruckman, The Unknown Bible, p. 592)

In his 1996 book Black Is Beautiful, Ruckman claims that UFOs are real. Ruckman believes that some of the medieval plagues in Europe were caused by UFOs, that a B-52 bomber was downed by a UFO and that aliens disemboweled the crew members, and that a crew member of a US Navy ship was transported into the future. He believes the CIA has implanted brain transmitters in children, old people, blacks, and prisoners (p. 243) and operates underground alien breeding facilities (p. 256). He believes in Atlantis (p. 171) and the Bermuda Triangle, time warps (p. 160), creatures with one eye (p. 173), web footed aliens, blue aliens with blue blood (pp. 85, 86), black aliens with green blood (p. 244), and grey aliens with clear blood (pp. 310-11). He believes that Adam originally had water in his veins instead of blood (p. 185). He believes that the government is involved with UFO animal mutilations (p. 247). He believes that black helicopters carrying UN troops are “circling your homes” with the mission of attacking and imprisoning the populace (p. 233). He believes the U.S. federal government has kidnapped people and kept them alive in “amber liquid” (p. 230). He believes that the CIA flies around in space ships developed from technology gained when the government made a deal with aliens to allow them to kidnap children and use their organs as food and to experiment on U.S. citizens (pp. 291, 295-297).

The following is an except from an expose’ of Peter Ruckman, by Neil Rivalland:

“Ruckman resorts to vicious badgering and name calling for those who do not submit to his authority. In the book ‘Problem Texts’ he uses curse words and vile language to castigate all the major Bible schools and seminaries in America. All who do not agree with him are the “Alexandrian Cults,” “Heretics,” “Apostates,” etc. In one of his books, he describes himself creeping into a church basement with blackened face, grenades in hand to blow apart the apostates. It sounds the same as Benny Hinn wanting to blow away all his critics with a “holy ghost machine gun.””

Peter Ruckman was a dangerous heretic. Being of reprobate mind, he twisted the teaching of Scripture to suit his own purpose and in the process has built up a cult following. Most notably Geoffrey Grider, Sam Gipp, Robert Breaker, Eugene Kim and Bryan Denlinger, who like their mentor, are known for their arrogance, nastiness, and argumentative spirit.

It should be noted that many of Geoffrey Grider’s “NTEB Rightly Dividing Radio Bible Studies” and “The NTEB House Church Sunday Service” derive from Peter Ruckman’s heresies.

If you do not have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ we cannot emphasize strongly enough that today is the day to repent ( have a change of mind) and put your faith in the atoning blood sacrifice of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God is everlasting life for those that believe in His Son.

Where Did the Old Testament Saints Go At Death?

“Abraham’s Bosom

Before Jesus died on the cross and opened the gates of Heaven, where did people go when they died? What is Abraham’s Bosom?”

As it s only by Jesus’ finished work on the cross that anyone, in any time period, goes to Heaven. That includes Old Testament saints. They did not go to Heaven when they died, because Jesus had not come to earth and lived the life we could not live and died the death we should have died. His work, alone, opened the way to the Father in Heaven.

Old Testament Salvation
While people in the Old Testament were saved by the grace of God when they trusted in Him, their sins were not yet washed away (atoned for) by the blood of Jesus. After God delivered His people from Egypt, and when He first set them on a journey to their inheritance in the Promised Land, He gave them a system of animal sacrifice to be a blood offering to cover their sins. However, the blood of an animal could never fully atone for the sins of man, and the works of man (including sacrificial works) could never fully satisfy God. Therefore, it was necessary that a day would come when God would send His Son, to be incarnated as a man, to live a pure and sinless life, and to die as the perfect Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

In the wilderness God had told His people that the life of man is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and therefore only by the blood of a man could the wrath of God’s judgment of sin be satisfied and the penalty for sin be paid. And, it had to be pure, sinless blood. Only Jesus could be that sacrifice and so He laid down His life in submission to His Father’s will and His blood was acceptable in God’s sight.

So where did Old Testament saints go before Jesus’ finished work?
We know that only Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life” and that “no man cometh unto the Father, but by [Jesus].” (John 14:6) Prior to Jesus’ atonement, the way to the Father was not open. Therefore, Old Testament saints went to a place called Abraham’s Bosom.

In Luke 16, Jesus describes two distinctly different places, where man’s soul went at death:

  1. the place of comfort called Abraham’s Bosom and
  2. the place of torment that we refer to as Hell.

1) Abraham’s Bosom Was Not Heaven.
Heaven is defined as the place where God dwells. Geographically we think of it as being “up above,” beyond the heaven that we see, the one in which birds and airplanes fly. The place where God dwells is even beyond the heavens in which the sun, moon, and stars exist. God’s dwelling place is considered to be the highest of heavens (Luke 19:38), the “Heaven of heavens” (Deuteronomy 10:14, 1 Kings 8:27) and is referred to in the Bible as the third heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2).

Where was Abraham’s Bosom?
Abraham’s Bosom was located “down below” the heavens in the depths of the earth. Jesus referred to it as the “heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:40) and it was the abode of the righteous dead prior to Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus also referred to this place as “paradise,” when He promised the thief on the cross next to Him that he would be with Him that same day, in paradise. (Luke 23:43)

What was Abraham’s Bosom?
Abraham’s Bosom was a place of comfort and it was a place of waiting. The sins of Old Testament saints were remitted by the Levitical system of atonement using the blood of animals. Since this was not sufficient to completely atone for sins, those who died in faith went to Abraham’s Bosom and waited until the time their sins would be paid for completely. They waited for the promised Seed, the Rescuer, the One who was promised in the Garden (Genesis 3:15, Galatians 4:4) to their father Abraham (Genesis 22:17-18, Galatians 3:16) and promised again to their most exalted earthly King, King David (2 Samuel 7:12-16, Acts 13:21-23).

When Jesus offered Himself in payment for the penalty of man’s sins, His shed blood made the complete and final atonement for sins. And, when Jesus ascended into Heaven, He led the Old Testament saints from Abraham’s Bosom to their new dwelling place with Him (Ephesians 4:8) in the Heaven of heavens.

2) The Other Place
Since the time of Jesus’ ascension, there now only remains the place of torment within the earth. We call this place “hell,” which is a translation of the Hebrew word “sheol” (meaning the world of the dead, the grave or the pit) and the Greek word “Hades” (meaning the place of departed souls, the grave). Remember, prior to Jesus’ ascension into Heaven both Abraham’s Bosom and the place of torment existed in the earth as the place of the dead. Since Jesus’ ascension, only one place remains Hell. That is why, when we refer to Hell now, we are referring to the place of torment only.

The place of torment is similar to Abraham’s Bosom in that it is a temporary abode for the unrighteous dead (Abraham’s Bosom was the temporary abode for the righteous dead until the saints were fully redeemed). In the place of torment, the unrighteous await a final judgment that is yet to come, which is referred to as the Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20:11-15. At that time, all the souls in the place of torment will be bodily raised and judged. They will go to their eternal destination, which the Bible calls the Lake of Fire (Revelations 20:15). The Lake of Fire is certainly not a place of comfort and rest.

Fatherly Comfort
In Abraham’s Bosom, the Old Testament saints were comforted by Father Abraham, but now they are in the comfort and rest of God the Father—the God whom the Old Testament saints knew as the God of their forefathers. Heaven is the eternal resting place of all who die in faith, having had their sins forgiven and washed away by the blood of Jesus. The Old Testament saints awaited Jesus’ atonement and then were taken there. New Testament saints, those who live in the age of the Christian Church go immediately to be with Jesus in Heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:8) at the time of death.” S.Abbott, Reasons for Hope.

There is Only One Gospel

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8.

Are There Two Gospels?

“Did Paul and Peter preach the same Gospel? Was there a different gospel to the gentiles than there was to the Jews? Some apparently thinks so.

This is often a reaction from those who disdain grace and want to conglomerate the law of the Old Covenant into the new covenant.

When Paul writes in Galatians any other gospel preached is accursed, then are Peter and John accursed? Is Paul.

There can be no doubt that on the day of Pentecost Peter did preach a “gospel of grace” And all those who believed that gospel were saved.

All those gathered at the Feast of Pentecost knew what Jesus was preaching before he ascended to heaven. lets go over the similarities of Paul and Peter.
Peter Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ Paul says this very thing in Rom.10

Paul says this is the gospel he preached 1 Cor.15:1-4. This is what Peter explained on Pentecost, which is the same subject, Jesus’ Death and resurrection.
Acts 2:22-24 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know- “Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; “whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

Acts 2:32-33 “This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. “Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.”

The Holy Spirit bore witness to the truth and made them witnesses of the truth.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

In other words you have walked away from Jesus, whom God gave as Messiah. Change your mind, turn toward him and be baptized to show that you are now committed and genuinely believe and you will be born again, by receiving the Spirit of God.

Acts 4:2 being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.”

Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.”

If one studies what Peter says later we find him agreeing with Paul and he even says this of Paul
2 Peter 3:15-18 “and account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation– as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”

What is the error of the wicked that Peter would be referring to? He tells us it will have one fall from their own steadfastness. His answer is to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, not keep the law as the Judaizers/ legalists were insisting.

When people get into the points of minutia before they see the bigger picture they will ALWAYS miss the point.

God presented Jesus to his people of the covenant first. Acts 3:26 “To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

Rom 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

There is only one gospel, not two and if one insists there are two, one of them is false. If they do not hold to the gospel that Paul preached, which is what Peter preached for both the Jews and non Jews (Gentiles) then they have accepted another gospel and will be judged for disseminating it to others.” Let Us Reason

There is Room for theTemple

The significance of the plans being made to rebuild the Temple is of profound prophetic importance.

Chapters 40-48 of the Book of Ezekiel give us a description of the city of Jerusalem and the Temple of God which will stand in its midst during the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ. The following facts are revealed to us in these prophetic passages.

Chapter 40:2 tells us that the geographical place of this city of Jerusalem and the location of the Temple that Ezekiel saw in his vision were located in Israel.

Ezekiel’s vision was not of the Jerusalem in Heaven, which we are told of in Revelation 11:19 & 21:10-21.

This can be verified by reading verse 22 of Rev. 21 concerning the Heavenly Jerusalem that will descend down upon the new earth after the millennial reign. We are told by the Apostle John, “but I saw no Temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple.” The Jerusalem of Heaven has no Temple structure.

Our first fact then is that there is to be an earthly Temple located in Jerusalem, Israel.

Returning to Ezek. Ch. 40:5 and reading on through verse 20 of Ch. 42 we are given the dimensions of this future Temple of Israel. Neither of the two previous historical temples credited to Solomon and Herod matched these dimensions given in Ezekiel.

Our next fact to remember then is that this prophesied Temple has never been built.

Ezek. Chapters 40-46 tell us of the sacrifices which will be offered in this temple. Of the 14 times that the sin offering is mentioned in any fashion, only 1 reference speaks of “atonement” – the rest are ordained for purification purposes.

The reference to the sin offering for atonement is found in Ezek. 45:16-25. The offerings of atonement are to be given by the people of the land for a prince ruling in Israel and it is he who is to prepare the sin offering and all other offerings in order to make atonement for the house of Israel.

Jesus the Prince of Peace once came to Zerubbael’s temple which was completed by Herod, but he was rejected. The future prince is representative of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ who offered Himself as a living sacrifice to make atonement for the sins of the world. The prince in Israel will prepare the sin offering for himself and offer it before the Lord who will then be ruling out of Jerusalem (Ezek. 45:22-23).

This Temple must therefore again be concluded to be a future Temple found in Israel after Jesus returns to the earth to rule for 1,000 years. This time Jesus will be recognized as the Prince of peace, the Lord of Lords and the absolute King of Kings. (Rev. 19:15-16 & 20:1-10).

Expectations and preparations for the construction of this earthly Temple in Jerusalem, Israel are in earnest. In June of 1997, in a surprise decision, rabbis in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip began to encourage their congregations to seek to pray on the Temple Mount.

Rabbi Daniel Shilo, pointed out in an interview to the Hebrew newspaper Ma’ariv that they had arrived at the decision only after extensive inspections of the Temple Mount.

These included measurements from architects and detailed drawings of the site, as well as air and satellite photographs. Up to that time, the vat majority of religious Jews refused to consider praying on the Temple Mount because of the possibility of desecrating the Holy of Holies.

“Today it is evident where the location of the Temple is, “ explained Rabbi Shilo. “There is no halachic reason to prevent any Jew from being on the rest of the Temple Mount site, which composes four times more land than the part which is forbidden to be on.” (Carol Rushton, Jerusalem Post Editorial Dept.).

In the March/April 1983 article of the Biblical Archeology Review, Vol. IX no.2, Dr. Asher S. Kaufman in his article, “Where the ancient Temple of Jerusalem stood: Extant ‘Foundation Stone’ for the Ark of the Covenant is identified” satisfactorily proved that the First and Second Temples sat exactly in line with the Golden Gate and the East Gate. This area sits 330 feet northwest of the Islamic Dome of the Rock.

According to controversial figure Yisrayl Hawkins, the Temple dimensions given in Ezekiel fit perfectly in the available area Northwest of the Dome of the Rock. He believes that the rebuilding of the Temple, “could be the biggest peace project ever ventured in the history of mankind, simply because of the magnitude of the war which all nations now face…Yaweh shows us that we do not need to harm the Arabs; we do not need to fight over the Temple Mount! Yaweh is showing us that we can, and that we should build this Temple on the vacant land where the Temple stood before, and that we should build a dividing wall to separate the Arab worshippers from the Jewish worshippers.”

Mr. Hawkins based his final remark about a dividing wall on Ezekiel’s Ch. 40:2 & 5 where the Scriptures tell of a future wall around the Temple and a structure (which he believes refers to the Dome of the Rock) standing to its south.

According to Mr. Hawkins, computations made at the Temple Mount and the specific measurements given in Ezekiel confirm that God has provided an area in the original Outer Court for the Dome of the Rock to remain standing with a dividing wall between it and the Temple.

He further pointed out that large walkway pavements were specified only for the North and East sides of the Temple in Ezek. 40:17-19. The Western area would not have the pavement as prophesied due to its positioning on the Mount, but why there is to be no walkway on the South side would remain a puzzle unless leaving the Dome of the Rock standing was taken into consideration.

The Temple will most certainly be rebuilt. Unfortunately for those such as Yisrayl Hawkins who believe the rebuilding of the Temple will bring peace, it will not.

The Scriptures tell of a Temple existing in Jerusalem during the terrifying Tribulation Period. It is there that the Anti-Christ will proclaim himself to be God (see II Thess.2:3-4).

It is highly likely that it will be by the Anti-Christ’s authority that the Temple will be built and the sacrifices restored (Dan. 9:27). Perhaps it will be for this reason that many Jews will at first believe him to be the promised Messiah.

After only 3 ½ years he will reveal himself to in actuality be the evil Roman prince of Dan. 9:26-27 who is prophesied to appear in Israel only after the true Messiah had been killed.

He is to strengthen a 7-year covenant with Israel (and many). He will then stop the Jewish Temple worship and put an end to the sacrifices halfway through the covenants proposed duration.

Weather any part of the tribulation Temple will meet the standards of Ezekiel’s vision and will remain standing until the return of Jesus Christ is unknown at present, but its defilement would surely seem to call for a renovation.

Revelation 11:1-3 does tell us that it will undergo close scrutiny by God during the first 3 ½ years of the Tribulation Period.

We do not believe it’s only a coincidence that a Gentile built “Dome of the Rock” located in the Temple’s Outer Court is deemed acceptable according to the parameters given by God in this prophetic passage. This is the very idea under consideration by those who want to rebuild the Temple. Quoting from Revelation 11:2 concerning the tribulation Temple we read of God’s foreknowledge and acceptance of this plan, “But leave out the court which is outside the Temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.”

Ezekiel 43:1-2, 45:1-8 & 47:13 – 48:35 are just some of the renovations prophesied to happen at the Lord’s return, not only to the Temple and Jerusalem, but to the entire borders of Israel.

While these prophetic facts are fascinating and even awesome to consider, the picture given in Rev. 21 of the Heavenly Jerusalem and God’s abiding presence coming down to the new earth is breathtakingly glorious.

Keep in mind this is not the restored earth described in Ezek. 47:1-12 and in a great number of other Old Testament prophecies, but the new earth created after the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Rev. 21:1 & 5). God has declared that the earth is to abide forever (Ecc. 1:4). His Love for His creation is eternal.

Geoffrey Grider/Now The End Begins – Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

My Blog

Geoffrey Grider

Paul clearly warned, For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore, watch and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. Acts 20:29-31.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into this world. 1 John 4:1.

An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And my people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end? Jeremiah 5:30-31.

False teachers and false prophets have always been very popular and the true messengers of God…

Babylon’s 2 and 3 – Revelation Chapters 17 and 18

In our previous study on the Book of Revelation titled, “The Wrath of God,” we left off at the outpouring of the seventh bowl in Ch. 16 at verse 17. This is the last bowl judgment containing God’s wrath and will complete the events being revealed in the day of the sounding of the woeful seventh trumpet of Rev. 11:14-15. Verses 18-21 of Rev. Ch. 16 then give a summation of the dramatic developments which will be experienced upon the earth at the pouring out of the seventh bowl. We are told that the greatest earthquake in the history of mankind will take place and that every island will flee away and the mountains will not be found. Hailstones weighing approximately 100 pounds will fall upon men and men will blaspheme God because of this great plague. Verse 19 brings our attention to the main focus of this study when we are told that the great City Babylon will be remembered by God when He gives her, “the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath” as the nations fall around her during the earthquake of all earthquakes. Before we enter into a more detailed look at what God shares with us about this Babylon found in Chapters 17 & 18 of the Book of Revelation we must first realize that there are three distinct landscapes to the last days appearance of Babylon which we might figuratively refer to as her body, spirit and soul.

Scripture reveals these three aspects of Babylon are to be destroyed at three different points in time. Perhaps this is the greater relevance as to why God has shared with us His intention to divide this great city into three portions Rev.16:19. The first aspect according to Jeremiah 51:59-64 is the literal geographical city of ancient Babylon which has been rebuilt by Saddam Hussein and now stands for the time being at its original location in Iraq. By that which is revealed in Jer. 50:18-20 & 51:19-24 we know that the destruction of Babylon must take place at its original location during these last days before Israel’s restoration to God and while Israel is still a military power to be feared. Babylon’s destruction, according to Jer. Chapters 50 & 51, will be accomplished by many nations among which will includeIsrael. This would indicate that geographical Babylon will be destroyed at some time in the near future and not during the Tribulation Period when Israel’s military might will be broken and she will become prey for the Anti-Christ.

The second manifestation of Babylon to be destroyed will be the sacrilegious last days seat of her ancient harlot religion. The fall of this great city, where her prostituted teachings are centralized, will transpire at approximately the middle of the final 7 years before the mark and worship of the Anti-Christ are fully initiated according to Rev. 14:8-11. It will be at this time that the harlot’s days of glory and authority will be finally ended. What remains will then be incorporated into the kingdom of the Anti-Christ. The harlot’s destruction is accomplished by a ten king alliance who serve the Anti-Christ according to Rev. 17:16-18.

In comparison to the destruction of geographical Babylon, Israel will be in severe distress at this mid-point of the Tribulation and her broken military might is in stark contrast to the great power she wielded earlier during the destruction of geographical Babylon (Dan. 8:23-24 & 9:27). Where as Israel will have been a major contributor in a global confederacy to eliminate geographical Babylon (see Jer. 51:19-24), in the annihilation of religious Babylon, only ten kings are singled out in the campaign for her destruction. The third manifestation of Babylon to be destroyed will be the great city where the location of the Anti-Christ’s ten kings power and might will be centralized. That is, his kingdoms wealth and government.

This final aspect of commercial/political Babylon is to be destroyed at the close of the Great Tribulation by Jesus Christ Himself. Her final moments will come by an unparalleled earthquake (as was revealed in Rev. 16:16-19), along with swift acting plagues and a raging inferno (Rev. 18:8 & Dan. 2:34, 35 & 42-45).

Verses 1-7 of Ch. 17 of the Book of Revelation then begin by an angelic revelation. We are given detailed exposition of the last day’s Babylonian harlot which has, according to Rev. 17:6, a bloodthirsty nature. She is found to have intoxicated herself from the blood of the martyrs of Jesus which makes her a defiled institution existing since the time the Church of Jesus Christ was founded.

Along with the enjoyment she derives from destroying true believers we are told that she is a mysterious, bejeweled and extravagantly draped harlot whose wealth is astounding.

With her being manifested as a harlot it is made known to us that she is found in the role of a soiled version of the faithful, betrothed Church of Jesus Christ (II Cor. 11:2-4). By her title it is made known to us that she is the original mother of all false religions which began to spread over the face of the earth since Genesis 10:8-10 & 11:1-8. She has taken on her final form as a prostituted matron of the one true faith. Under her deceptive guise she will gather all her wandering children in a final march to destruction. We are shown that in the last days she will be carried upon the back of the beastly representation of the kingdom of the Anti-Christ.

Verses 8-11 of Rev. Ch. 17 then share cryptic revelations about the spirit entity which will possess the Anti-Christ and more information regarding the harlot religion. Considering the harlot, the Apostle John is told she sits on seven mountains, which to his understanding of that day would have unequivocally been meant to be a reference to Rome.

We are thoroughly convinced beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Roman Catholic Institution is the harlot being unmasked in Ch. 17 of the Book of Revelation. The evidence to support this is overwhelming.Verses 12-18 of Rev. Ch. 17 then conclude the chapter with an intriguing double cross. In verse 7 of this chapter we are shown that the Anti-Christ and his composite kingdom carry the harlot. We then learn of just how much a burden she really is to this kingdom and of the seething hatred which will be revealed against her from the Anti-Christ. Her temporary control over the beast was only tolerated by the beast so that she could be used to bring her illegitimate children together in unity.

Verses 12-18 share that the ten kings of the Anti-Christ will devote all of their power, authority and wills to the establishment of the kingdom of the beastly Anti-Christ – so much so that verse 14 reveals they will even dare to challenge Jesus Christ at the day of His return.

Revelation 13:14 reads, “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him [which is the Church] are called, chosen, and faithful.” (See also Rev. 19:19).

Revelation 17:15 brings us back to focus on the harlot by showing that her ecumenically corrupted form of Christianity, which incorporates and encourages the worshipers of every false religion of the world, has influence over the whole earth.

Verses 16 & 17 then reveal the utter contempt the Anti-Christ has harbored and nurtured against the harlot and how ten kings will be of one mind with his hatred towards her.

The Anti-Christ’s relationship with the harlot might be compared with a black widow spider who allows the smaller mate of the species to approach until the desired pro-creative at is accomplished. The mate is then devoured by the larger female.

The Anti-Christ carries the harlot while she regathers her children for his future plans, only then will the ten kings strip the harlot of her power and wealth and will burn her up with fire.

Verse 18 tells us that the city that is recognized as being one with the harlot, will up to that time have had a history of reigning over the kings of the earth. Our unqualified candidate for the great, religious city of the wealthy murderous harlot is Roman Catholicism’s own unique domain found in Vatican City.

Verse 1 of Ch. 18 of the Book of Revelation then opens with a glorious and powerful angel appearing to the Apostle John. We soon find out that this angel has an announcement of something which is to take place “after” the wealth and power of the scarlet woman of Babylon is devoured and her city is destroyed by the Anti-Christ.

We are shown in verses 2 & 3 that all that was the harlots will then be found in another final manifestation of Babylon which will include a transferred infestation of countless demons.

Verse 1 told us this will take place “after” religious Babylon has been destroyed.

In verse 2 we are shown that there has been a movement of demons and foul spirits from the one aspect of Babylon which had just been destroyed, into another aspect when we are told of two fallings of Babylon. It is still the one Babylon, but her destruction comes in stages.

First the geographical, then the religious. Last comes religious Babylon’s consort, the Babylonian beast which she has merged with the ultimate false worship.

Verses 4 & 5 warn the tribulation saints that they should have no part of Babylon and that they should flee from her.

Verse 6 gives us an additional clue to help with understanding this newly announced destruction of Babylon after having just witnessed a pervious destruction of Babylon in Ch. 17. We are told, “…repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.”

There is to be a second death for religious Babylon after her vile legacy is absorbed into the realm of the Anti-Christ’s kingdom. False worship, in defiance against the only true God, is a defining characteristic of the Anti-Christ’s kingdom.

Verse 7 of Rev. Ch. 18 reveals that in her final form Babylon is no longer referred to as a harlot, but instead as a queen. An arrogant queen that does not recognize herself as being widowed by the destruction of her former consort. In the face of her proud, defiant attitude God assures her of His swift judgment in Rev. 18:8.

Verse 9 again presents a contrast between the harlot and the queen of Babylon when we are shown kings weeping over the day the queen is destroyed, while in Rev. 17:12 & 16, kings enthusiastically destroyed the harlot because of their burning hatred against her. In the same fashion that the harlot had a central city so too, we are told in verse 10 of Rev. 18, does the queen.

The religion of the Anti-Christ’s kingdom is of the greatest importance to the queen, but of no less significance is the empire’s financial control. Revelation 13:14-17 draws a clear connection between control of wealth and control of religion in the Anti-Christ’s kingdom.

This is why Rev. 18:11-19 centers on the extraordinary wealth based power controlled by the queen’s great city. Because of the prophecy of Daniel 9:26 which reveals that the Anti-Christ will come from the people who destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, we know the queen’s city will be found in what was once the Roman Empire. The European Union established by the Treaty of Rome is without any doubt, by our understanding, the fulfillment of the restored Roman Empire of these last days.

We do not believe it is a coincidence that women are found symbolically portrayed as representative of government or a depiction of false beliefs in Europe in these last days. A writer out of London noted this in the summer 2003, “Light for the Last Days,” along with Europe’s affinity to identify itself with Babylon.

We quote, “The EU has adopted symbols which are very significant in the light of prophecy. The EU flag with twelve stars on a blue background points to the 12 tribes of Israel, linking it to “British Israelism.” Outside the Council of Europe building in Brussels there stands a sculpture of a woman riding a bull (see Revelation 17 – the woman rides the beast). The sculpture is a representation of the Greek myth of Europa being carried away by Zeus, the chief of the Greek gods, in the form of a bull. This building is the nerve centre of the EU, where laws are written by unelected men, only later to be rubber stamped by the EU parliament. Its new parliament building opened in Strasbourg in December 2000 is deliberately modeled on Brueghel’s painting of the Tower of Babel. When asked by a secular journalist ‘Why the Tower of Babel’ an EU official replied, ‘What they failed to complete 3000 years ago – we in Europe will finish now.’ ”

An EU promotional poster has a reproduction of The Tower of Babel with construction cranes above it and the caption ‘Many tongues, one voice. For an example of how a modern European city could fulfill the parameters of the queen’s commercial Babylon, we might consider looking within the female representation of Great Britain, Britannia. With the British Isles historic pagan Celtic Apostolic Church’s unscriptural belief that they are the lost tribes of Israel, and the monarchs of Great Britain believing they are sitting on the earthly throne of King David, reigning over Israel, which is known as British Israelism, one can find a strong foundation for a religion which can be used to position the Anti-Christ as the last day’s false Messiah. (See Apostasy Called Revival – The Rise of Celtic Spirituality)

Combining these facts with the January and December, 1999 reports from the Electronic Telegraph, a proposal to replace Britain’s coronation service with a multi-faith ceremony with contributions from other faiths (“Coronation might become multi-faith…”), and that the religion of the United Kingdom would no longer be explicitly “Protestant” in opposition to Roman Catholic inclusion in government affairs (Archbishop’s Timebomb”), we can see by this example how a historic commercial and financial Goliath like the 677 acre former Roman settlement called the City of London might fulfill the yet to be revealed final Babylon of the end times.

A more recent report that has had years to mature even further concerning the growing efforts of Great Britain to develop far reaching religious authority was shared in the Electronic Telegraph article of Jan. 4, 2000 which headlined, “Leaders of nine faiths stand together.”

The article stated that, “Leaders from the nine religious faiths in Britain stood together in the Palace of Westminster yesterday and made a public commitment to “work together for the common good” in the Third Millennium. The unprecedented events, hosted by the Prime Minister, brought together Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Sikhs, Jains, Baha’is and Zoroastrians in the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. George Carey, stood shoulder to shoulder with Chief Rabbi, Dr. Jonathan Sacks, the secratery general of the Muslim Council of Great Britain, Iqbal Sacranie, and leaders of other faiths…”In a world scarred by the evils of war, racism, injustice and poverty, we offer a joint Act of Commitment”…to work together “to help bring about a better world now and for generations to come”…Tony Blair described the occasion as “progress of a very special sort” for the country which showed how religions, which had often been cause for division, “can reach out across the divide.” Dr. Carey emphasized the Christian nature of the millennial celebrations, but acknowledged “the increasingly important contribution of other faiths.” He said: “This event will, I believe, be seen by future generations as truly historic.”

It is interesting how Pope John Paul has also prayed in unity with these same religions.

Out of this tangled web we can be sure the end time harlot and queen will be made known after the true Church of Jesus Christ has been Raptured to heaven (I Thess. 4:15-18).

Returning to Ch. 18 of the Book of Revelation we find that verses 20-24 close out this chapter with a call for heaven and believers to rejoice over the complete and final destruction of Babylon because, “…in her was found the blood of the prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” By this revelation we are shown that her roots are ancient.

It was a matter of false worship and rebellion against God that brought forth the very first murder by Cain when he slew his brother Abel. Where as Jesus told us in John 8:44 that the devil is the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning, it might be said of Revelation Chapters 17 & 18 that we had just met the mother.

There is only one true way to come to God and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Saviour, repent and accept the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ this moment for the forgiveness of your sins and receive the promise of eternal life. Once you have truly given up your life to Jesus, never let the words of Galatians 2:20-21 leave your heart and mind, “I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me, I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

London Olympics, 2012. – Signs of the Times

Modern-day Tower of Babel (ArcelorMittal Orbit) at Olympic Park, London, England, 2012.

London 2012 Olympics: UK’s tallest sculpture completed on Olympic Park
Designer Anish Kapoor said one of his references was the Tower of Babel. “There is a kind of medieval sense to it of reaching up to the sky, building the impossible. A procession, if you like. It’s a long winding spiral: a folly that aspires to go even above the clouds. It has something mythical about it.”

Glastonbury Tor, located in Glastonbury, Somerset, England, was put on the map when it became the most prominent part of the “Isles of Wonder” set of the London Olympics opening ceremony. Unbeknown to the majority of international viewers, Glastonbury is the most revered of Britain’s occult sacred sites, and has a long association with the Celtic legend of King Arthur, and the underworld…the Celts believed Glastonbury is the entrance to the underworld. It should be noted that the British electronic duo Underworld were the music directors for the Olympics opening ceremony.

The Tor (Celtic for hillock) has seven terraces and when viewed from above, the terraces create a winding labyrinth path, which was rumored to be used for many occult rituals including Druid initiations and goddess worship.

In 1804, after visiting Glastonbury Tor, mystic William Blake wrote the blasphemous poem ‘Jerusalem’: “I will not cease from Mental Fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand: Till we have built Jerusalem, In Englands green and pleasant Land.”‘ ‘Jerusalem’ England’s unofficial national anthem was the chosen “hymn” for the London Olympics opening ceremony.

When shuffling this logo it appears that it spells Sion or Zion. nterestingly, the translators of the King James Version of the Holy Bible referred to England as “our Sion.” The Epistle Dedicatory, King James Version.

The Mark Of The Beast

I received the following question: “When the false prophet attempts to brand every living person with his mark, how will he do that? The logistics are staggering! In the third world countries – especially with the incredible high birth rate that must be around 600,000 a year with little to know documentation on these births – it seems impossible. The production of 6 billion devices to implant in every human seems next to impossible. Implanting or tattooing something on 6 billion people seems impossible also. Doesn’t the mark have to be a spiritual…a confession…a cultural thing”?

Reply: The Scriptures in question can be found in Rev. 13:16-17. And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

First, it should be pointed out that it is not the mark of the false prophet, even though he does initiate it through the living image as can be seen by reading verses 15-16, but rather it is the “mark of the beast” called the anti-Christ.

The false prophet’s mission is to direct worship to the anti-Christ, not himself. Also, he derives all his authority from the beastly anti-Christ. This can be verified by reading verses 3, 4, 8, 12, and 14-17 in Rev.13.

The conclusive proof text can be found in Rev. 19:20, where the mark of the beastly anti- Christ and his image are described as separate from the false prophet. The mark is clearly associated with the first beast of Rev. 13, in Rev. 19:20.

Concerning the mark itself, for it to be only symbolic, instead of a literal mark, would be superfluous to the text. The mark must be visible in order for it to accomplish its intended purpose of identifying and controlling the purchasing and selling of the world’s populace.

This is proven by the Greek word “charagma” used throughout Revelation in reference to this mark. The word literally means an “engraving or etching.” A tongue-in-cheek “Heil anti-Christ” will accomplish very little towards fulfilling the goal of Satan, the Beast, and the False Prophet, for obtaining tangible global control.

Lastly, in regard to how it will be accomplished, I must admit I have been reluctant to endorse the new implants as the mark, but have shared and followed the developments in this area because it shows the prophesied course of marking and tracking individuals in these last days.

I have not discounted it’s usage in the future world of the anti-Christ under special circumstances. My reservation about the implant fulfilling the global role of the mark arises in four areas: time, cost, aversion, and language.

First of as pointed out in the question, The logistics of preparing billions of syringes with implants and then injecting the world population would distract greatly from the little time the anti-Christ will have to pursue this venture during the final three and one half years of the Great Tribulation.

We must also consider all of the apocalyptic distractions he will be dealing with.

Secondly, it was reported in the 1988 ‘American Medical News’ that The total cost of an implant under the skin for just one individual was several hundred dollars. Even though we can assume the cost has been reduced, we can still foresee an astronomical expenditure for such an undertaking.

Thirdly, is the tremendous aversion many people have to hypodermic needles although we are sure that having one’s head cut off will serve as a powerful inducement For people to overcome this phobia (Rev. 20:4).

Then lastly, the literal Greek word for “where” the “mark” is to be placed is the word “epi” which is our word “upon.” The implants are designed to be implanted under the skin while the mark is to go “upon” the right hand or “upon“ the forehead. An implant just under the skin in the forehead against the bone would seem vastly unacceptable and a cumbersome undertaking.

So how then might this mark be administered?

It should be noted that a quarter of the earth’s approximately 6 billion people will be killed before the mark is instituted according to Rev.6:8. This fact, along with the removal of the Christians at the Rapture, will produce a significant reduction in the global population. The total population will continue to be dramatically eradicated after the anti-Christ begins his marking campaign. The remaining population can be efficiently and swiftly marked upon the skin with laser tattoos in an extremely economical manner.

An ideal identification mark has already been developed. Keep in mind that this information, as of 2001, I am about to share concerns a technology developed and put in use over 25 years ago.

The following is quoted from an interview from ‘God’s Latter Rain,’ in May of 1976, with the developer of permanent freeze and laser beam marking. His name is Keith Farrell. He was engaged by the United States Department of Agriculture to teach and study at Washington Stoats University in Pullman, Washington. He was a researcher and lecturer on Physiology – Pharmacology at the college of Veterinary Medicine and his dream was for “Universal Animal Identification.” The article titled the ‘Mark’ is Ready, opens with statements:

“Can you imagine 6,000 dairy cattle being marked each week with computer compatible symbols that can be detected by an electric scanner and fed into a computer…Can you fashion in mind a completely unalterable mark that would be capable of individually identifying every animal in the world with the idea that these marks should be a permanent part of the animals…Can you visualize the capability of a ruby red laser marking at machine gun speeds, every fish from every hatchery throughout the world, with a different mark for every hatchery; and therefore revolutionize the fishing industry? Technology is presently available to achieve this.” Dr Farrell stated, “If we could individualize the animal, we could easily have one overall computer program…This would then make the identification of a particular animal available within seven seconds to any law enforcement officer in the United States and Canada as well…I am assured techniques could be forthcoming to establish programs of individual identification of people.”

Not only does this satisfy the language of Rev. 13:16, that requires the mark to be upon the skin, but also another interesting point of the Greek language. The words “to receive a mark” in verse 16, according to Greek Scholar A. T. Robertson, literally means “that they give themselves a mark.”

It could realistically be understood in our day of Automatic Teller machines and laser technology how little supervised laser tattoo terminals could be globally distributed and made available 24 hours a day.

Apostasy Called Revival – The Rise of Celtic Spirituality/The Emergent Church

Throughout history the Church has recognized that the dominating false world religion and government prophesied of in Revelation Chapter 17 for these last days would come forth from the old Babylonian and Roman Empires. This political/religious partnership, described in greater detail in Revelation Chapter 13, will reach its zenith during the establishment of a seven year covenant with Israel.

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifices and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27.

Current events overwhelmingly support that the present-day European Union, which originated in Rome, Italy, with the signing of the Treaty of Rome, is indeed the prophesied restored Roman Empire, which will bring forth the last day’s world dictator.

“Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that an’-ti-christ shall come, even now are there many an’-ti-christs; whereby we know that it is the last time.” John 2:18.

The Roman Catholic Church is a major forerunner of this end-time Babylonian harlot religion, which will unite in full power with the European Union in its final push for world dominion. Her purpose at present remains the same as when she assumed the authority and power of the decaying historic Roman Empire within her courts. That is, to unite apostate Christianity and pagan religions together for allegiance to the restored Roman Empire, through the common roots found in the ancient Babylonian mystery religion. She is a bishop on the last day’s chessboard, but remains a disposable piece all the same.

The great city of the harlot will be destroyed sometime at the end of the first three and one half years of the Tribulation.

“And he sayeth unto me, The water which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God has put in their heart to fulfill His will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman that thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:15-18

The anti-Christ and his followers do not hate religion as a whole since it is essential to their final demand for worship. They just hate having to carry this particular religion which will have served its limited purpose.

The final form of Satan’s religion, which will rise to prominence after this point will be the deadliest of all and will be the system which demands that the world worship the anti-Christ through the authority of the second beast known as the false prophet.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he excerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; which had a wound by the sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:11-15.

In order to effectively consider leading candidates for the religious system that exists in the world today which could more specifically fulfill the role of the last day’s religion of the anti-Christ, the Church can only pray for discernment. The belief system which will overshadow the false religions of the earth during the closing hours of this age will display a perverted form of Christianity and will have at its core the belief that it is the worship system which will produce its own messiah in replacement of Jesus Christ.

Its belief system roots must go back to ancient times of spiritualism and mysticism. At present the primary candidate seen with these credentials is the Celtic Apostolic Church (The Emergent Church)1, which first appeared in Great Britain around 500 AD and is growing in power and prestige at a phenomenal rate. It should be noted, the ancient pagan British Celtic Apostolic Church believed they were the lost 10 tribes of Israel (British Israelism.) The roots of Druidic paganism are deeply entrenched in the Celtic Church, which can be verified by the fact that St Columba’s own motto proclaimed “Christ is my Druid.”

St. Columba was held in high regard by leading false prophet of The Latter Rain Movement, William Branham. On his pyramid-shaped tombstone in Jeffersonville, Indiana are inscribed the names of the seven churches of Revelation and seven men. If the two faces of the pyramid juxtaposed one over the other, the fourth church and man listed is Thyatirean – Columba.

Dr Rowan Williams, the man expected to be the new Archbishop of Canterbury, England, who will lead the 70- million-strong Anglican Church around the world is involved in Druidic paganism. In an early morning ceremony Dr Williams was inducted as an honorary white druid. The ceremony took place “in the face of the sun, in the eye of light” while druids chanted “a prayer to the ancient god and goddess of the land”2 at the start of the Welsh National Eisteddfod at St David’s, Pembrokeshire, Wales on August 5, 2002.

At this time, 2002, the spiritual figurehead of this pagan religion is Michael Lafosse who is claiming to be HRH Prince Michael of Albany, Head of the Royal House of Stuart who also “claims” that on November 4, 1985, under International Law the president of the International Parliament (Mediterranean Security) endorsed by the United Nations, ratified his legal right as Head of the Celtic Church of the Kindred of Saint Columba. Prince Michael also boldly “claims” that his titles were verified as legitimate titular claimant to the Throne of Scots and legal Pretender to the Throne of Great Britain.3

Additional recognized titles “claimed” by this prince are Knight Grand Officer of the Supreme Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (S.M.O.T.J.) which is a modern-day order of the Knight Templars, Knight Grand Commander of the Chivalric Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem,4 and Prince of Jerusalem.5

Daniel 9:26 may be significant to ponder in light of Prince Michael’s belief that the Royal House of Stuart known to this day as the Royal House of Unicorns [is this why the word unicorn has been inserted in the KJV over the Hebrew knowledge of wild ox?] are descendants of the Jewish kings of Judah 6 (the blasphemous belief known as British Israel – the Anglo-Saxon people are descendants of the lost 10 tribes of Israel – the English throne is the earthly throne of King David), and the specific title of Prince of Jerusalem from the House of Stuart, when considering the anti-Christ’s role as “the prince that shall come.” Of additional interest is that Michael “claims” to be Grand Protector of the Order of the Dragon for Great Britain and the English speaking world7 and President of the European Council of Princes.8

It is interesting to note that the mythical unicorn is Scotland’s National Animal – Scotland’s deep connections with the unicorn stem from its Celtic culture. Celtic mythology believed unicorns to represent innocence and purity whilst also being associated with chivalry, pride and boldness. The first recorded use of a unicorn symbol is in the twelfth century when it was adopted by William I on the Scottish Royal Coat of Arms.

Prince Michael also “claims” to be the 57th Archpriest and Temporal Head of Scotland’s ancient Druidic-Christian Church of the Culdees and that Polish born Pope John Paul II acknowledged his right to the Polish Crown (Michael “claims” to hold the title of Prince of Poland). Michael further “claims” that Pope John Paul 11 invoked God’s abundant blessings upon him as leader of the Celtic Church and Knights Templar.9

It is a notable fact that William 1 who reigned over Scotland from 1165 to 1214 adopted the Lion Rampant under the law of heraldry. And to this day the Lion Rampant is the second unofficial flag of Scotland. This “animal” has the body like that of a leopard, feet of a bear, and mouth of a lion. See Rev. 13:2

If the Celtic pagan religion is the belief system of these last days, which will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ then patterns and evidence of footholds within so-called Christian enclaves should be evident. Those who have discernment will find names of persons, religious rites and symbolic representations directly associated with the Celtic Apostolic Church have been introduced into an extensive number of Christian assemblies.

One such name that is being put forth is Smith Wigglesworth , who is held in high esteem by many in Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches. At Family Worship Center, Jimmy Swaggart has dedicated one of his buildings to Wigglesworth. It is also of interest to note that Oral Roberts University [Oral Roberts was a 33 degree freemason] graduate Gabriel Swaggart, grandson of Jimmy and Frances Swaggart, is featured on the front cover of the Evangelist wearing a large pagan Celtic cross necklace.10

The Celtic cross is among the most cherished Celtic symbols in Ireland. They are another emblem of the ancient premise “As above, so below.” The ring at the center is what makes Celtic crosses so unique. In the ancient pagan Celtic world, the circle/wheel represented many sacred things…balance and harmony between the male and female, the sun, the life cycle, wholeness, the cycle of the seasons, energy of the female force, and the eternal connection of all things in heaven and on earth.

In 1947, Smith Wigglesworth gave the following “end time “rare” prophecy.”

“During the next decade there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the Church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.

…there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.”11

In opposition to Smith Wigglesworth’s “rare prophecy” of a great revival, the Scriptures reveal that in these last days there will be a great falling away with men holding to a form of godliness while denying the power of Christ’s blood shed at Calvary.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” II Thessalonians 2:3.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” II Timothy 3:5.

In fact, at this late date the only “great revival” that has come forth from the shores of the United Kingdom which is reaching Europe and the rest of the world is a revival of Celtic spirituality.

Many prominent writers and charismatic church leaders are urging the people of Europe to return to their Celtic roots in order to foster reconciliation between the Celtic peoples. In his book published in London, author Martin Robinson, Director of Mission and Theology for the British and Foreign Bible Society, pointed out the importance attached to Europeans recognizing that the growing reunification of Europe is not only connected with Celtic history but also with their beliefs.

“Recent events in the history of Europe have forced us to reconsider what we mean by the term ‘Europe.’ In the period between the end of the Second World War and the fall of the Berlin Wall ‘Europe’ often meant the very different Europes of the West and East. The growing reunification of Europe allows us to look again at what a common European culture, history, heritage, and home might mean. Europe can once more be seen as a culture which has interacted in particular ways with other cultures and continents in the world. The shift in focus from two Europes – one broadly liberal and democratic, the other communist and totalitarian – to a single Europe which sees itself as a part of a broader Western culture, but distinct in particular ways from North America, allows a reconsideration of the elements that caused a common European story to emerge from the multiplicity of stories owned by the various tribes of Europe.

In this context, the contribution of the Celts is now better understood. They are no longer seen as simply forms of the faith that existed in Celtic lands, but which were then overtaken. Their active role in shaping larger parts of Europe is now recognized. In a purely historical sense their role and reputation are rightly restored. But the present interest in the Celts seeks to go beyond a merely historical restitution. Their contribution to the shaping of our past is just as challenging as restoring their place in history.”12

George G. Hunter III, Dean of the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism, and Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky, affirmed the absorption of all things Celtic by people, while expressing an astute observation that it is not readily apparent that people are recognizing the Celtic source of their attachments and inspirations.

“…we can see enough parallels between the Celtic era and ours to understand the growing interest in Celtic Christianity. A renaissance in Celtic music, Celtic art, Celtic dance, Celtic love of nature, and Celtic spirituality is already underway. Sometimes, though it is difficult to discern whether people are consciously plugging into Celtic Christianity or simply latching onto some of its themes without regard to their probable Celtic source.

For example, eighteenth-century Methodism grew remarkably among England’s working poor people, who did not fit into the refined Church of England culture, whom Establishment Christianity largely ignored. John Wesley went to great lengths, through observation, interviews, and correspondence, to understand England’s unchurched populations. Methodism, like Celtic Christianity before it took root and became contagious almost everywhere in the open air. Wesley’s movement practiced the ministry of hospitality and welcomed seekers into the fellowship of Methodist class meetings, and even Methodist societies, before they believed or had experienced anything. Most of them “caught” the faith from the fellowship…

Methodism formed its people in ways reminiscent of the Celtic five-fold approach. Methodism engaged people’s imaginations through Charles Wesley’s poetry and the folk arts of the people. Early Methodism adopted the people’s kind of music, and many sang their way to faith. Like the movement spawned by [Celtic St] Patrick, Wesley’s movement believed it had recovered the original apostolic mission to pre-Christian population…

Celtic Cross Dedicated to John and Charles Wesley St Simons Island, Georgia

The second half of the twentieth century experienced a widespread renewal of many features of Celtic Christianity. Ian Bradley observes that some of the most influential Christian writers of the twentieth century, like John Ballie, Pierre Tielhard de Chardin, and Thomas Merton were drawing from a distinctively Celtic theological vision…

Some Christian movements today, such as Revelation Church in the south of England, are consciously informed by a Celtic vision…Revelation churches involve their people in soul friendship, small groups, lay ministries, the ministry of witnessing, and in cross cultural mission…Revelation Church is discovering ways to communicate through visual symbols and creative arts.

The Jesus Movement in Australia is also consciously Celtic in its roots and vision. The movement began around 1970, under the leadership of John Smith, as an outbreak of indigenous evangelistic and prophetic activity in Irish pubs, coffee shops, art communities, folk music communities, hippie communities, and in debates on race and justice on college campuses. The movement evolved into an apostolic order in cooperation with several Australian denominations. The Australian Jesus Movement targeted people in (and beyond) the fringes of establishment society…Smith would organize an itinerant team of a dozen to thirty or more people to engage a community for days. Team members let their hair grow long, traveled on motorcycles, and when appropriate, wore hippie shirts…Many team members were etched with Celtic Christian tattoos, which Smith recalls, “stimulated questions everywhere!”…

Some Christian movements, such as the Alpha course from Holy Trinity Church in the Brompton section of London, may be unconsciously informed by a Celtic Christianity. The Alpha course served for over a decade, as Holy Trinity’s introduction to Christianity for seekers who want to “sniff around,” “kick the tires,” check out Christianity, and try it on for size. In the early 1990’s, the church’s leaders introduced other church leaders to the course and its growth has been remarkable – from 5 registered courses in 1992, to 10,000 in 1998 – in 72 countries.

Finally, not many churches are yet following Christ to reach the receptive New Barbarians who are all around them! Nevertheless, the Celtic Christian movement that won the West for a second time has shown us many ways for reaching the West for a third time.”13

Leaders within the apostate church refer to “reaching the West for a third time” using the ancient pagan British Apostolic Celtic Church’s missionary model as the “third wave.” The “first wave” the evangelization by this early pagan church with its Eastern-influenced spirituality, led by [Celtic Saints] Patrick and Columba. The “second wave” began in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries with Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley and George Whitefield being the principle figures of this movement, which became known as the Great Awakening in the American colonies and the Evangelic Revival in the British Isles. The “third wave” of Celtic spirituality gained further prominence around the world in 1906 with the Azusa Street Revival. British Israel believer Charles Fox Parham, Father of Pentecostalism, played a central role. Then starting in the late 60’s Celtic spirituality gained further influence around the world with the emergence of the Jesus Movement, followed by the New Age Movement (repackaged Celtic spirituality), the Hebraic Roots Movement and the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR.) There is little doubt that these movements were founded to usher in the anti-Christ, the one world religion and the Oral Babylonian Noahide Laws. It is also possible the NAR will spearhead a second apostate counter-culture Jesus Movement in the future.

Most, if not all, of today’s front-line missionary organizations use the counter-culture/social/political/religious model of the ancient Celtic Church as a tool to “evangelize” the world. The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan, formally commissioned by the GCOWE (Global Consultation on World Evangelization) 2000 conveners in September, 1988, is a blue print for the spiritual, social, and political agenda designed to usher in the one world religion. This is evident when reading:

“Offer the hand of friendship, respect, cooperation, love, compassion, understanding, and dialogue to our fellow human beings and fellow religionists in the great world religions of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism, Baha’i, Shinto, and numerous others…While differing in our beliefs about God and Jesus, we can all nevertheless struggle together against the monstrous evils that plague our planet, threaten its survival, and so render world evangelization futile.”

David B. Barrett, Todd M. Johnson, Leslie Brierly, Patrick J. Johnstone, Gary K. Clark, John S. Mbiti, Tom Forrest, CSsR, James W. Reapsome, V. David Garrison, Lamin Sanneh, Jay E. Gary, H. Vinson Synan, and Manuel J. Gaxiola, are listed as working group members of the Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan. 14

In 1994, we purchased a videotape entitled The Power of A.D. 2000, from Adopt-A-People’s Clearinghouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado, featuring KGAP working group member, Jay E Gary. On this video, which was a presentation to a live audience of “Christian” leaders, Gary recommends some truly shocking books. One of these books recommended was The Reimagination of the World written by New-Agers David Spangler and William Irwin Thompson.

Jay Gary stated:

“This book, called Reimagination of the World, might as well have been entitled, `The New Age is Dead, Long Live the New Age.’ Because these are written by veteran and pioneer New Agers who are looking now at the year 2000, and the New Age movement, reflecting on it after 20 years or more – and more history than that – not as just a mystical experience, but as a metaphor for understanding personal transformation and societal transformation, particularly the dawn of the year 2000. This is subtitled, A Critique of the New Age, Science and Popular Culture. And it’s one of the best.”

Moreover, the introduction to Frank Bartleman’s book Azuza Street, Bridge Logos Foundation, 1980, which calls for an ecumenical unity of all believers, was written by another KGAP working group member, H. Vinson Synan.

Not all are blind to the Celtic influence being introduced into the churches but in fact are advocates of its allure. In an article from a popular ecumenical magazine it was reported that:

“Throughout England, charismatic leaders are adopting the ancient Celts as a new ministry model for the 21st century. Roger Forster, pastor of the Ichus Church in London and a leader of the March for Jesus movement, refers to Patrick and other Celtic saints as examples of “radical” Christianity.

Excluding its ancient evangelical nature, Celtic Christianity cuts denominational, nationalistic, and physical boundaries in presenting the gospel. Catholics and Protestants, traditionalists, and charismatics all are inspired by the saints…

Andy and Jane Fitz-Gibbon lead a renewal community based in New York. They share their own insights in their book Prophetic Lifestyle and the Celtic Way…

A new ‘Dark Ages’ presents us with a greater challenge than faced by the church since the collapse of the Roman Empire, they write. “We can no longer assume even a passing awareness of Christian tradition and culture.”

The church’s evangelistic task is aimed at a new paganism, they point out. And in some ways, they note, the church has been here before…

The division that stirs misunderstanding about the Celtic movement seems to occur naturally along spiritual lines. In the church, inquirers will find a Christ-centered, charismatic, Celtic-style spirituality. In secular society, inquirers will discover a myth-and-magic movement with a few saints thrown in for good measure.

Indeed, the Celtic movement in the wider world beyond the church is a strong one, offering a bizarre mix of pagan and pro-Christian mythology. British newspaper The Telegraph reported last spring that Celtic culture has been gaining ground in postmodern Britain…

Despite the flurry, the evangelistic and meditative cry of the Celts may well continue into the 21st century, like an echo from the past. Some Christians say we ignore it at our peril if we mean to take the gospel successfully into societies that have increasingly withdrawn from the church to seek their spirituality elsewhere…

For evangelist Steve Hill of Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida, the heart cry of the Celts was heard while he rode on a ferry across the English Channel…Hill later received prayer at London’s Holy Trinity Brompton Church…and he went on to play a key role in what has become known as the Father’s Day Outpouring at Brownsville Assembly in 1995.

The cry of the heart that the Celts sounded…is being heard again, and it is the same call today as it was at its birthplace on the misty green hills and rocky coasts of ancient Celtic lands. It is still the sound of revival.”15

An example of the “outpouring” from Brownsville Assembly was reported in the June 19, 2000 edition of the Pensacola News Journal Today. The article revealed at Sunday’s Brownsville Assembly of God service “thunderous wailing, shrieking, and howling surged. To a beating drum waves of pandemonium swept the church. For almost 20 minutes, people raced through isles, danced, laughed uncontrollably, jumped, jerked and collapsed…[John Kilpatrick, pastor of the assembly stated] “Now, that’s how it should be.””

The Word of God clearly warns of these demonic manifestations that are taking place in churches across America and around the world.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” I Timothy 4:1.

Another fearful example of the “outpouring” was reported to have taken place in 1997, during an ecumenical gathering in Cork, Ireland. At this meeting, lead by four renewed church group leaders, Peter Anderson (Anglican), Tom Hoban (Good News Fellowship), John Keating (Christian Centre), and Doug Heffernan (Celtic Prayer Centre), spirits were invoked and those in attendance were encouraged to return to their Celtic roots.

“On the Saturday a leaders lunch was held in the Celtic Prayer Centre, which saw the coming together of Anglicans, Methodists, Presbyterians and the independent Christian groups. Wes [Campbell] again ministered and encouraged those gathered to be open and expectant of the REVIVAL that the current RENEWAL was leading towards…

On Sunday morning we were entertained by John Scotland. John is one of the most unusually anointed people, in his case, he has continuous symptoms of being drunk in the Spirit. He is amazing to watch! He had everyone take another drink and enjoy the presence of the Spirit.

The climax was on Sunday night when Wes came running out into the hall in full Braveheart [Sir William Wallace] regalia. Roaring to the sound of the celtic music he talked about standing for Jesus and possessing our land and FREEDOM. It was fantastic and many were really challenged to lay hold of our WARRIOR FAITH and declare war on the enemy.”16

Sadly, many are deceived into believing that these bizarre actions are the result of being filled with the Holy Spirit, but Scripture refutes this contention and instead exposes such behavior as being demented or demonic. These same demonstrations of spirit possession are readily identifiable in many pagan religions including voodoo.

Such demonic manifestations were also evident at “revivals” in Europe and America during the 17th and 18th centuries. Among those influencing these meetings were George Whitefield, Francis Asbury, Charles Finney, Count Nicholas Zinzendorf, Jonathan Edwards, and John Wesley.

“Of particular importance to Wesley was the outpouring of the Spirit in Everton [England] during the summer of 1759…what he found made a profound impression on him, to the extent that he made occasional references to it in his Journal throughout the rest of his life. In one of his first references to it (July 29, 1759), he quotes a very long account of the work of God in Everton, probably by John Walsh who wrote:

“…The Lord was wonderfully present, more than twenty persons feeling the arrows of conviction. Several fell to the ground, some of whom seemed dead, others in the agonies of death, the violence of their bodily convulsions exceeding all description. There were also great crying and agonizing in prayer, mixed with deep and deadly groans on every side…

A child seven years old, sees many visions and astonishes the neighbors with her innocent, awful manner of declaring them.””17

Roger Ellis and Chris Seaton, leaders of Revelation Church in England, acknowledged the Celtic origins of these “signs and wonders” when they wrote:

“there was in Celtic Christianity much that charismatics and pentecostals would recognize today. Increasingly, historians are beginning to acknowledge that the growing body of evidence for miracles occurring today must influence their view of the Celts’ accounts of miracles….

Just so, there is something about the flowing together of spiritual streams of anointing that works toward strengthening and deepening of a move of God in a nation. We can apply this principle to contemporary “wells” with which we are familiar. The streams of revival from the wells in Toronto, Canada, Pensacola, Florida and Argentina in South America have flowed into our nation across denominational boundaries in recent years. Likewise, there have been tools like Alpha, Cities of God, and March for Jesus that have either stimulated or been enhanced by local church unity.”18

The anti-Christ will operate in the greatest magnitude of what the deceived will believe are the true signs and wonders and gifts of the Spirit.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” II Thessalonians 2:9.

The one true God, the living Lord Jesus Christ, did ordain individual leaders for His Church.

“And he gave some, apostles; some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” Ephesians 4:11-12.

Today, many are caught in the deception of the Celtic Church’s “five-fold-ministry” approach, which replaced Jesus Christ with their own false apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, who then serve as the people’s lords. These false teachers “…appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.” Matthew 23:27-28.

To the body of Christ who have been deceived into following and supporting these false prophets the Word of God declares:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Ba-li-al? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God: as God hath said I will dwell in them, and walk in them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord.” II Corinthians 6:14-18.

In closing, there seems to be no other religion on earth, which can serve the purpose of Satan so fully in these last days than the one spawned from pagan Celtic beliefs. From its reach to the nobles of Europe to its inroads in countless so-called Christian franchises the supernatural powers of evil await the final establishment of her unholy glory.

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Saviour you can be sure right now by repenting (having a change of mind) and putting your faith in Jesus Christ who paid the full penalty for the sins of the world by shedding His precious blood on the cross. Your trust in Him alone for your salvation can assure your receipt of this blessed atonement.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.” Acts 20:28-31.

In the 2002, message Apostasy Called Revival – The Rise of Celtic Spirituality it was stated:

“If the Celtic pagan religion is the belief system of these last days, which will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ, then patterns and evidence of footholds within so-called Christian enclaves should be evident.”

At this late hour there is further evidence that the ancient Celtic pagan religion, with its roots in British Israelism, eastern mysticism and paganism, is the belief system that will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ.

The Supreme Court of Israel

Built in 1992 the new Supreme Court of Israel, with its numerous masonic symbols has at the center of the parking lot pathways shaped like a pagan Celtic cross. It is important to note that this building was not funded or designed by the Jewish people but by the Rothchild Foundation, and then only after they were allowed to use their own architect and choose the location. The Israel Supreme Court sits in Jerusalem.

Thanks-Giving Square

In 1976, Thanks-Giving Square, founded by Peter Stewart, opened in Dallas,Texas. The square includes a “Chapel of Thanks-Giving” (resembling theTower of Babel,) with a “Glory Window” in the shape of a Celtic spiral. This is symbolic of the agenda to unite religions under the umbrella of the anti-Christ and the one world religion. Which is evident when reading their mission statement.

“Our Mission Statement is Rooted in Human Spirituality

Our mission is twofold:

To witness, celebrate, and to promote the value and spirit of thanksgiving for both sacred and secular cultures throughout the world…Thanks-Giving Square serves as a common ground, a sanctuary where there can be a confluence of faiths and traditions in discussion of shared concern… citizens from diverse backgrounds can use thanksgiving as a way to heal divisions and enhance mutual understanding.

Our mission is carried out through our programs of education and research:

Cooperating with religious, cultural and educational organizations in educational and cultural programming.

Develop and operate the MultiFaith Exploration and Exchange Program, bringing together Dallas-area members of more than ten world religions to discuss religious and cultural diversity and issues that affect urban life

Develop gratitude-education materials for use from preschool to university level.

Develop research and themes for presidential proclamations for the National Day of Prayer in the spring and Thanksgiving in the fall.

Hosting the National Day of Prayer breakfast and an annual Thanksgiving dinner.

Hosting meetings of the Thanksgiving World Advisors and seminars on thanksgiving and gratitude at various locations around the world, including Japan, Argentina, India, Liechtenstein, China and other countries.

Holding a Thanksgiving World Assembly for spiritual leaders from around the world.”

Celtic Symbolism

In the United Kingdom many apostate church leaders openly admit to the fact that they are following the teachings of the ancient Celtic Church. One of the more prominent leaders, Roger Ellis, head of Revelation Church, located in South London, and co-author of New Celts – Following Jesus into Millennium 3, was the main speaker at the ‘After the Rain Pioneer Conference’ held in the United Kingdom, in March, 1996. At this gathering, Ellis encouraged the conference leaders to engage in a national spiritual revival, based on the re-discovery of Celtic spirituality. Ellis also encouraged the use of Celtic symbolism.

“Within the midst of this society, God is saying to the church that we’re going to have to learn a new language. It’s a language of symbols…I love the Celtic statements of faith that were often drawn, that were contained within their crosses and within their symbols. Drawings were used for kind of doctrinal statements. That would be great wouldn’t it, if you went to speak at C.U. [Christian University] and instead of “let’s see your doctrinal statement,” they sent you a nice Celtic symbolism thing, wouldn’t it for a change? That’d bless me to no end.”

The main symbolic representations being introduced into Christian assemblies are Celtic crosses and Celtic spirals.

For those unfamiliar with the meaning of these ancient pagan symbols:

“The Celtic cross is among the most cherished Celtic symbols inIreland… They are another emblem of the ancient premise “As above, so below.” The ring at the center is what makes Celtic crosses so unique. In the ancient pagan Celtic world, the circle/wheel represented many sacred things…balance and harmony between the male and female, the sun, the life cycle, wholeness, the cycle of the seasons, energy of the female force, and the eternal connection of all things in heaven and on earth.”

“The Celtic spiral design represents the natural form of growth. In most cultures, past and present, it is a symbol of eternal life. The whorls represent the continuous creation and dissolution of the universe; the passage between the spirals symbolize the divisions between life, death and rebirth. A Celtic spiral that moves to the right symbolizes the sun and victory. Celtic spirals also represent the dance of war for the Scottish Highlands. The interlacing of continuous lines and spirals symbolizes the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds. The never ending characteristic of spirals and loops symbolizes a never ending cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Many Celtic images can be found at “Christian” websites including Rick Warren’s Crave media web page. One of which, the Bold As Love graphic, is very similar in appearance to the Celtic graphic depicted on the front cover of Jimmy Swaggart’s Crossfire edition of The Expositor’s Study Bible. The only major difference is the Crossfire image depicts Celtic wings (Celtic symbol of freedom).

One of the first public displays of Celtic symbolism at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries appeared on the front cover of the December 2000, edition of The Evangelist, when his grandson Gabriel Swaggart, was featured wearing a large pagan Celtic cross necklace. Since that time numerous Celtic symbols including, the outline of the Celtic cross (Crossfire’s logo), Celtic spirals, and Celtic wings, have appeared on JSM’s web pages and materials. The most blatant display of symbols are depicted on images posted on Crossfire Youth Ministries web pages, and Crossfire ministries tee shirts (see photos on Crossfire’s Facebook page.)

Since this message was distributed in 2002 Crossfire Youth Ministry have removed many of the above mentioned symbols.

The most shocking graphic posted at JSM web site depicts the rampant lion, which has a face of a lion with a body more like a leopard and feet similar to a bear (“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Rev. 13:2.) celtic spirals, a wing (symbolic of Celtic freedom), and at the bottom of this graphic is the top of an upside down cross. The upside down cross indicates the rejection of Jesus Christ and is commonly used by satanists and heavy metal rock groups among others. This link has also been removed.

Wild Goose Festival

Another prominent leader of the “Emergent Church Movement,” Brian McLaren, who along with Rick Warren wrote the foreword to Dan Kimball’s book The Emerging Church: Vintage Christianity for New Generations, (Kimball believes, “we can learn from the Celtic approach”), is now like his British counterparts, openly promoting Celtic spirituality:

“Wild Goose Festival, June 23-26 – I hope you’ll come!

Having been in the UK the last week and met so many friends whom I originally got to know through Greenbelt, I’m all the more enthusiastic about Wild Goose, coming up in North Carolinain just over a month. What’s Greenbelt? It’s a festival of faith, art, and justice, planned and led by a fascinating group of Christian leaders in the UK, held every August. (I’ll be speaking/hanging out there this year.) What’s Wild Goose? It’s a similar festival being planned by a similarly fascinating group of Christian leaders in the US. I’ll be speaking/hanging out there as well.) I hope you’ll consider being part of this first-ever Wild Goose festival. It can play an important role in the emergence of a new Christian ethos in our land.”

“The Wild Goose is a Celtic metaphor for the Holy Spirit. We are followers of Jesus creating a festival of justice, spirituality, music and the arts. The festival is rooted in the Christian tradition and therefore open to all regardless of belief, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, denomination, or religious affiliation. In adopting the image of the Wild Goose we recognize that in the current climate of religious, social and political cynicism, embracing the creative and open nature of our faith is perhaps the greatest asset for re-building and strengthening our relationships with each other, with our enemies, with our stories, our texts, and the earth. In that spirit, in a festive setting, and in the context of meaningful, respectful, and sustained relationships, we invite you to create with us!” “And yes, I will be camping.”

Among those scheduled to speak at this pagan Celtic gathering are Lynne Hybels (wife of Willow Creek pastor Bill Hybels), Jim Wallis (Sojourners) Tony Campolo, Jay Bakker (son of Jim & Tammy Bakker), Bart Campolo (son of Tony Campolo) and Frank Schaeffer (son of Frances Schaeffer.)

The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan

Most, if not all, of today’s front-line “Christian” organizations use the counter-culture/social/political/religious model of the ancient Celtic Church as a tool to “evangelize” the world. The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan, formally commissioned by the GCOWE (Global Consultation on World Evangelization) 2000 conveners in September, 1988, is the blue print for the one world religion.

One of the many plans listed in this lengthy document is to place young people in global leadership positions in-order to take over the churches. Roger Ellis admitted he was following this agenda during an interview with Noel Stanton, senior pastor of the Jesus Fellowship,UK.

When referring to these youth leaders, some as young as 18, Roger Ellis stated:

“Some are real visionaries, who are getting discipled, released and moving on” and “I am concerned about some smaller charismatic churches. Either leaders of churches have to step out of the way and let younger people take it over or they need to diverify their ministry to create room for this lot to come on. If they can’t do that, they disempower them and they become frustrated, and lose the pioneering edge. We have to take the ceiling off the next generation of leaders and release them.” New Celts, Youth Culture interview:

Pied Pipers

The following youth missions and seminaries are just a few of many who are indoctrinating the young to “evangelize” the “New Celts.”

Youth With a Mission (YWAM) founded in 1960, by Loren Cunningham, has a ‘Celtic Way Community’ located in Paisley, Scotland where attendees are encouraged to “live lives of simplicity much like the Celtic Monks.”

YWAM Seamill, West Kilbride, Scotland is one of many worldwide discipleship training schools for “radical world changers” who follow the ancient pagan Celtic missionary model to “evangelize” the “new barbarians.” The following was posted on the Seamill YWAM website, January & February, 2020:

Celtic Christianity: a stream whose time has come, again. Part 1, by Jane Holloway

“The Reawakening of the Celtic Stream of Christianity
It is also a kairos season of God; a moment in history whose time has come. God is refining his Bride. Prophets are increasingly speaking of shakings and realignments. We are being called to a greater holiness and more accountability before Him in this. The time of the maid servants and the oil lamps, the Lord saying to “go away I never knew you” is approaching. (Matthew 25:1-13)

In the midst of all this, God has been stirring up something he planned long ago. Here in the wild backwater fringes of the British Isles during Dark Age Europe (5th-10thcentury) God birthed something that is again relevant in our day – the Celtic stream of Christianity. In his book, Exploring Celtic Christianity, Ray Simpson explains the significance of this stream. He writes particularly of the application to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in northeast England. However, I believe his words also resonate for all the Celtic stream of Christianity, and its significance in God’s plans for the world.

He writes, “…there is [a] cradle that is rooted deeper in the soil, deeper in the soil of the people, deeper in the supernatural, a cradle required by the kairos of our time. This cradle, which has been lost sight of, is to be rediscovered; from it there will be a birthing of a New Way in the Church, which has a significance far beyond anything that one person can comprehend”.”

Celtic Christianity: a stream whose time has come, again. Part 3, by Jane Holloway

“It has been 1700 years since Europe has been where it is today. Christendom, the ‘covering’ of Christian belief, morality and social structure is all but gone. Once again, the people of Europe, and indeed the West, are increasingly people with no Christian memory, who have no idea what we Christians are talking about. Without a clear source or foundation, they are increasingly receptive – and actively exploring – various worldview options to make sense of their lives. Theirs is an increasingly spiritual search. In the face of this massive shifting of culture, the Western Church has generally been in denial. Those churches not in denial have struggled to engage with the large number of “neo-barbarians” outside their doors. As one writer puts it, the mainline Western Churches generally don’t have ‘the precedent or the ‘paradigm’ for engaging the West’s emerging mission fields. However, there is one stream that seems to have a model that can be drawn upon, showing us ways forward in the 21st Century. The Celtic stream of Christianity.

Transitions and history
It can be said that transitions between the epochs are messy things by nature. Old wine skins no longer work and need to go, but the new wine skins are only just in the process of becoming ready. Further compounding things, there are some elements of the old that really do need to be continued….but which ones? It is all very unsettling and confusing. It’s where we are at in 2020. And it was where most of Europe was when the western Roman Empire collapsed: a Europe that was on the eve of the flowering of Celtic Christianity.

History is not linear: a smooth straight line ever advancing and improving. That worldview is a construct of the Modern Age with its foundation of reason, the empirical and linear progress. Instead, history is a series of forward-moving circles. That we are, in fact, moving forward is clear from God’s Word. That we often circle back to repent, relearn, and recalibrate is also biblical. This is where discernment with Holy Spirit is key in assessing the old wine skins as well as what the new wine skins are to be.

What Celtic Christianity brings to the table
Celtic Christianity is a very old wine skin, but one I believe was cut off before its time. I also believe the Lord is bringing it around again because we in the West are once more primarily a spiritual but non-Christian people. So many elements of Celtic Christianity have resonance for Western society today. So much of what is left of the Christendom model, does not.

In an effort to find purpose and to live life with some semblance of joy and peace (materialism and science/technology not having brought that), so many Westerners are exploring all and sundry in terms of spiritual and religious ideas and pathways. Tellingly the Church is often the last place they look. At the same time, Celtic Christianity has connecting points for peoples of other religious persuasions, allowing them to encounter the Living God and grasp His good news, the Gospel.

Kairos versus Chronos
Understanding that no one path is perfect, the Celtic Christian stream that arose during “Dark Age” Europe (5th – 10th centuries) has many key connecting points in this epoch of time. In fact, it is a kairos time for us, particularly in the West. A list of many of the chapter titles from Ray Simpson’s book Exploring Celtic Spirituality is a succinct way of capturing the key elements of Celtic Christianity that have massive implications. Communities of Faith. People on the move for God. Contemplative prayer. Rhythm in Work and Worship. Holy Places; Healed Land, Hospitality. Real Men, Women and Families. A Cherished Creation. The Cross in Creation. A World of Sacrament. The Encircling Three. The Wild Goose (Celtic Christian name for the Holy Spirit). Signs and Wonders. The Prophetic Spirit. Healing. A Church without walls. Compassion for the Poor. Vocations for all. One church. ‘Go-with-the-flow’ evangelism. Healing of the Nations.”

In an undated article titled, YWAM Portland, Oregon, Visits our Monastery, Celtic Monk Preston of the Prayer Foundation, revealed: “Once a month, YWAM Portland has a day of prayer, solitude and contemplation,” and YWAM missionaries who visited Preston’s Celtic monastery dressed in monks robes, were then instructed in the practices of the ancient Celts by Celtic monks.

Seth Barnes, founder of the young adult’s missionary group AIM, promotes Celtic spirituality. On his blog Radical Living in a Comfortable World, Spiritual direction: advice from a soul friend, Barnes shares a link to All Saints Parish, Celtic Spirituality website.

In September, 2010, Fuller Theological Seminary, taught an International Course in ‘Exploring the Celtic Heritage’: “The spirituality of the Celtic saints offers a creative missional model for the 21st century. This unique course will be based on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, off the coast of Northumberland, England, and will combine reflection on mission in today’s world with space for personal reflection & spiritual nurture.”

Fuller Theological Seminary is now offering Summer 2011 Immersion Courses, one of which includes a 10 day trip to Ireland, where students are encouraged to: “Join us as we wander amongst sacred sites dotting the Irish countryside studying the birthplace of Celtic monastic spirituality, which still today has a significant influence on our worship practices…Worship God through contemplative prayer and song in cloistered spaces and under the wide canopy of Irish sky. Examine the rich imagery and symbolism of Celtic crosses.”

“The sponsors of integrated education in the arts, theology and worship also promotes Celtic spirituality at their website. “The Wild Goose Festival is a music, art and conversation festival at the intersection of justice and spirituality. It is rooted in the Christian tradition seeking to welcome all regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, background or belief. In the Celtic Church the image of the Wild Goose has long been held as a symbol for the wild, unpredictable, and untamable nature of the Holy Spirit…”

Nazarene Theological Seminary in their spring, 2011, Course SPF 790 – Celtic Spirituality, introduces students to the “Christian traditions” of the ancient pagan Celtic Church. “The renewal of interest in and even fascination with all things Celtic in recent decades begs the question: What do so many find compelling about these peoples and their culture? Embedded within the more well-known expressions of Celtic art, music, dance, and story are references to lesser-known spiritual traditions, both pre-Christian and Christian. What characterizes Celtic spirituality and what is its relevance for Christian spirituality today? In this course, these and other questions will be explored from the perspective of the Christian Celtic tradition.”

London Olympics Opening Ceremony

Glastonbury Tor located in Glastonbury, Somerset, England was put on the map when it became the most prominent part of the Isles of Wonder set of the London Olympics opening ceremony. Unbeknown to the majority of international viewers Glastonbury is the most revered of Britain’s ancient sacred sites with a long association with the Celtic legend of King Arthur, and the underworld (the Celts believed Glastonbury is the entrance to the underworld.) The Tor has seven terraces and when viewed from above the terraces create a winding labyrinth path which is rumored to be used for occult rituals including Druid initiations and goddess worship.

Christianity Today

Christianity Today ( CT) magazine published a blasphemous front page cover story ‘Saving Celtic Spirituality` by Loren Wilkinson April 24, 2020.

“…These Celtic spirituality books are generally beautiful, lavishly decorated with a colorful knotwork of intertwined beasts and plants. The contents are organized around the seasons or the Celtic Pagan holy days (Samhain, Beltane, and others). The spiritual content is generic and safe, usually preceded by some warnings about the difference between Celtic spirituality (which is inclusive, and hence good) and Christian religion (which is exclusive, and hence bad). The introduction from one of these books is typical: “This book is for people of lively, questing spirit who want to lay down a personal pattern of spiritual practice but who do not wish to practice this within a specific religious framework. The material within this book springs from the spiritual current of Celtic tradition.”Thus Celtic spirituality becomes one more dish on a spiritual smorgasbord, alongside various ancient and exotic traditions. We are used to such a spread in these late-modern times, whose inhabitants (like the Athenians of Paul’s day) are always hungry for the latest ideas. The current wave of Celtophilia might be of only marginal interest to the Christian—except that a substantial and rapidly growing Celtic Christian movement also exists within the evangelical Christian community. So the word Celtic occurs with increasing frequency in the books and music of Christian bookstores, as do the rhythms”….

Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa

A banner used to promote Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (CCCM) senior pastor, Brian Brodersen’s Bible study on Revelation 9:13-21 depicting a pagan celtic triquetra symbol was sent out by Twitter on March 6, 2016. This symbol was then seen projected on the wall behind the pulpit at CCCM.

A triquetra is a triangle or three (tri) cornered quetrus. It is made up of three intersecting vesica pisces, a shape created by the intersection of two circles – sacred geometry.

The triquetra is considered one of the oldest pagan celtic symbols dating back to as early as 500 AD when it was used to symbolize the triple goddess/Divine feminine (maiden-mother-crone). The symbol is often used to represent the three fundamental elements – air, water, and earth or the infinite cycle of life. It is also known as a rune of protection.

Pilgrim Lutheran Church (ELCA)

“Ten years ago, Pilgim Lutheran Church (ELCA) in the Macalester – Groveland neighborhood of St Paul took a long hard look at itself and started dreaming. What would a new worship service look like, if the congregation could add one? Like so many other neighborhoods in the Twin Cities, Pilgrim has had its share of “de-churched” individuals who had some previous experience in the Christian faith but no current home in a church community. How might a new type of worship experience make a difference?
With their mission statement in mind, “to be a home for hungry minds and souls,” Pilgrim’s dream quickly moved to strategic planning. A worship renewal grant from the Calvin Institute for Christian Worship, supported by the Lilly Endowment, undergirded the congregation’s tactical decision to add a service that was both contemplative and global. The Irish roots of St. Paul and the Scottish, Irish, and Celtic identities of its nearby colleges led to an indigenous approach to style, and Pilgrim launched one of the Twin Cities’ first Celtic worship services.

March 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of Pilgrim’s Celtic contemplative communion services and an exciting milestone for the congregation. Offered the second Sunday evening of the month from September to May, this unique worship experience immediately filled a need in the community and became an effective and pivotal outreach for the congregation…

Pilgrim’s Celtic service is contemplative, without a sermon. Participants worship and receive God’s presence through prayers, poetry, litanies, scripture readings, music, and silence. When worshippers arrive, they are invited to light a candle and place it in a sand-filled Celtic cross. This light-filled cross becomes the circle around which the congregation gathers for Holy Communion later in the service…”

The previous information is only the “tip of the iceberg.”

The Mysteries Declared To The Prophets

Quoting verses 5-7 from chapter 10 of the Bible book of Revelation we read, “And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his hand to heaven and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished as He declared to His servants the prophets.” Verse 7 tells of the days when the mystery of God, which He has declared to His servants the prophets, will be finished.

What is this mystery? There are countless mysteries of God that mankind knows nothing about, but this particular mystery has been made known according to God’s explicit word and it is one that the prophets have been privileged to expound upon. In Mark 15:43 we are told how Joseph of Arimethea waited for the establishment of the kingdom of God. This expressed hope is central to understanding the revealed mystery of Rev. Ch. 10 which God will bring to a conclusion with the sounding of the 7th angel. The specific timing of this great event takes place at the midway point of the final 7 years of the tribulation period known as Daniel’s 70th Week (Dan. 9:27). As we shall see, the Scriptures reveal in Rev. 12:14 that the conclusion of the days of tribulation will end 3 ½ years in the future from this point at the Battle of Armageddon as is prophesied in Rev. Ch. 19.

The one great mystery concealed from the ungodly but proclaimed throughout the Old and New Testament writings of the prophets is the promised days when the Lord would establish His rule. Prophesying of the time of the great tribulation Daniel the prophet wrote in verse 44 of Ch. 2 in the Old Testament book which bears his name, “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever.”

Precisely how the kingdom of God would be established through God’s Messiah was not revealed in its fullness to the Old Testament prophets, but remained partially concealed until the Lord Jesus Christ Himself lifted the veil from the mystery which surrounded its fulfillment. Regarding this mystery of the kingdom we read in Mark 4:11, “And He [that is Jesus] said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables.’”

The key passages of Scripture which directly connect the mystery of the kingdom to the mystery in Rev. 10:7 can be found in Ephesians 1:9-10, Rev. 12:7-10 & 11:15-18. All of these passages speak of the same period when the 7th trumpet is blown during the tribulation.

Quoting Eph. 1:9-10 we read, “…having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth – in Him.”

It is important to keep in mind from this passage in Ephesians that at the time when Christ gathers together all things to Himself He begins with heaven and then follows with the things of earth. It is the time He begins to exercise His rule over all things and begins to reign.

Quoting from Rev. 12:7-10 we read of this “fullness of the times” (Eph. 1:10) when the lower heaven is first cleansed of evil with the arrival of the kingdom of God and is then brought under Christ’s dominion. “And war broke out in heaven Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”

There are some who believe the Rapture of the Church will take place at this time during the blowing of the 7th trumpet. This passage of Scripture thoroughly refutes this notion of a mid-tribulation Rapture if one only continues to read on through verses 11-12 & 17. We quote, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time”…And the dragon was enraged with the woman, [that is Israel] and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Instead of the Rapture taking place at the arrival of the kingdom of God we find the tribulation saints facing almost certain death from the wrath of the devil. There is no Rapture to heaven at this time because the Rapture of the Church will have already taken place at least 3 ½ years earlier before Jesus Christ opened the first seal of the Tribulation Period in Rev. Ch. 6. Verse 14 of Rev. 10 verifies that 3 ½ of the 7 year Tribulation have elapsed by this point in time with its reference to there only being a time, times and half a time remaining (that is 3 ½ years) for Jewish believers to be hidden from the serpent.

Some may contend that no scriptural evidence has been presented thus far to verify that this time when Christ begins to reign at the arrival of the kingdom of God does in fact correspond with the sounding of the trumpet of the seventh angel. Without such proof those who disagree could rightfully dispute that the declared mystery of God found in Rev. 10:7 is harmonious with the arrival of the kingdom of God.

Such solid scriptural evidence can be found in the Revelation passage of verses 15-18 of Ch. 11. This passage of prophecy leaves no room for any doubt that the arrival of the kingdom of God takes place at the trumpet sounding of the seventh angel and is most definitely the finish of the mystery of God declared to His prophets of old. We quote, “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. “The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

The long awaited days when God will judge the wicked and bring about the restoration of all things will begin with the sounding of the seventh angel’s trumpet. The writer of Psalm 94 wrote in verses 1-3, “O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs – O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud. Lord, How long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph?”

Then again in Rev. 6:10 we hear from the martyred souls of the tribulation saints who had missed the Rapture, “…How long O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

God has promised since days of old that His time of vengeance and judgment will surely come. In verses 5-6 of Psa. 110 the prophet records of Christ, “The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.”

Let us now summarize. Before the start of the 7 year Tribulation period at the blowing of the trumpet of God, the restraining power of the Holy Spirit-indwelt Church will be removed to heaven at the event commonly referred to as the Rapture (II Thess. 2:7 & I Thess. 4:15-18). For 3 ½ years the evil world dictator called Anti-Christ will have free reign to deceive the Christ-rejecting world as God sends strong delusion to those who chose to trust in unrighteousness ( II Thess. 2:9-12).

At the end of these first 3 ½ years at the arrival of the kingdom of God, Jesus Christ begins the days of His reign at the sounding of the seventh angel’s trumpet (Rev. 10:7 & 11:15-18). The Lord begins His reign by cleansing the lower heaven of Satan and his angels by casting them down to the earth. During this time the Anti-Christ is granted to continue in his time of authority upon the planet for the remaining 3 ½ years until the Lord completes His days of wrath when He returns to the earth (Eph. 6:12, Rev. 12:7-12, 13:5-8, 19:17-21 & 20:1-3). After a 1,000 year reign upon the earth Jesus will bring all evil to its complete and final end (Rev. 20:7-15).

Precious time and eternal fates are at risk by those who resist the call to salvation during the days before the Church is removed. You do not want to miss this blessed opportunity to be a heavenly witness to the day when the kingdom of God arrives as declared to His prophets. This very moment you can be assured of your eternal forgiveness by repenting, having a change of mind, and trusting in the Living Lord Jesus Christ who paid the full penalty for the sins of the world with His own precious blood.

The Church Is Not Israel

Replacement Theology by Malcom Hedding

Recently, I became more keenly aware of the spiritual conflict that rages over Israel. This conflict settles on the battleground of Replacement Theology. While we reject this theological concept, it is worth noting that it is a ‘new’ that has strengthened itself over many centuries within churches of all traditions. It is therefore not easily removed and yet we are called to do so with the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.

To some degree, Replacement Theology is so deceptive because it rests on half-truths. For instance, the Church is the “Israel of God” but not in a replacement sense (Galatians 6:14-16).

In essence, Replacement Theology removes from Israel a national destiny in the land of Canaan because of her rejection of Jesus’ Messianic credentials. All the biblical statements of Israel enjoying future blessings in the land of Canaan are said to be descriptions of the spiritual blessings that now accrue to the Church. The expectation of a physical kingdom has been spiritualized and taken from Israel and given to the Gentiles (Matthew 21:43), even though Jesus never denied that the physical kingdom would be restored to Israel (Acts 1:6-7).

That this way of expounding Scripture completely violates the principles of biblical exposition is of little importance to them. We should interpret Scripture by the nature of the text. If it is literal, then we should interpret it literally, but if it is spiritual or figurative, then we should respond accordingly. For instance, Jesus said, “I am the door!” Does this mean He actually is a door? Of course not! The context is clearly figurative and needs to be interpreted as such.

We are therefore not committed to any singular form of biblical exposition – literal or figurative – but rather to the context. This will determine our style of exposition and therefore we uphold the integrity of Scripture and its authority.

The Essentials of Replacement Theology

Replacement Theology rests chiefly on the idea that the whole or part of the Abrahamic Covenant has been abolished, for it is this Covenant that promises to Israel eternal ownership of the land of Canaan (Genesis 17:7-8).

Once this ‘promise’ has been removed, the present-day restoration of Israel means nothing and her only hope is in the Church. Now it must be made clear that we believe that only in Christ Jesus can there be salvation for Jews and Gentiles alike (Romans 1:16-17). However, we do not believe that the promise of God in the Abrahamic Covenant bequeathing the land of Canaan to Israel has been removed, and therefore Israel’s modern restoration to the land of Canaan is indeed fulfillment of that promise and constitutes a milestone on her ‘way home’ to her Messiah (Ezekiel 36:24-28).

Two Points of View

The Replacement camp is divided into two opinions concerning the Abrahamic Covenant:

  1. The Abolitionists

This camp sees the Covenant with Abraham as being entirely abolished. However they have serious difficulties because Paul writing to the Galatians states that Jesus died in order to bring to our lives the blessings of the Abrahamic Covenant and if we belong to Jesus, we are Abraham’s children according to the promise (Galatians 3:13-14, 29).

If the Covenant has been abolished, then what Paul says is wrong! Moreover the writer of the Book of Hebrews states that we can trust God to be faithful to the New Covenant because He has always been faithful to the Abrahamic Covenant (Hebrews 6:13-20). This constitutes a serious problem for the Abolitionists because, if the Abrahamic Covenant has been abolished, then God is a liar and indeed is not faithful, though the writer of Hebrews affirms that He is!

Many Abolitionists have perceived this problem and have consequently moved to the…

  1. Reconstructionist Camp

This theory states that the Abrahamic Covenant has indeed not been abolished but it has been reconstructed. That is, the part that promises land to Israel now means spiritual promises and not literal ones. The problem with this theory is:

(a) It is a total presupposition and the Scriptures nowhere affirm it. That all nations would be blessed in Christ was actually the intention of the Abrahamic Covenant from the very beginning, but this does not remove from the Jewish people a national destiny in the Holy Land.

Reconstructionists lay emphasis on Paul’s teaching in the Book of Galatians concerning God’s promise in Abraham being made not to his “seed”, plural, that is the people of Israel, but to his “seed” singular, meaning Jesus (Galatians 3:15-18). Therefore they conclude that since the “seed” Christ has come, the promise to the “seed” of Abraham as in plural – meaning the people – has been removed! They have forfeited the land!

The truth is that Paul also uses the term “Abraham’s seed” in the plural in the New Testament (Romans 9:6-7). In other words both interpretations of the term “seed” are true! Abraham’s seed is singular and plural. The blessing God promised in Abraham is only in Christ Jesus because He died for the whole world, but the mediation or means by which this blessed “seed” comes into the world is through the “seed” plural – the people of Israel. The one truth does not contradict the other. Both truths are in fact interdependent (Romans 9:1-5), hence the extensive genealogy of Jesus given in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke (Matthew 1:1-17; Luke 3:23-38).

The Bible nowhere states that the promises of God in Abraham concerning Israel’s everlasting possession of the Land of Canaan are removed. In fact, everywhere it affirms the opposite! That is, that a day is coming when Israel will be restored to the land and to her Messiah (Ezekiel 36:24-32). This passage from Ezekiel teaches the very opposite of Replacement theology, in that Israel’s rebellion and sin has not led to land forfeiture but to judgment and correction, yet in the end God will, for His Name’s sake, restore Israel to her ancient land and to Himself! He does this in spite of her history of rebellion and sin. The truth is that Replacement Theology reflects the heart of man and not that of God!

(b) The Scriptures refute it. Jesus came to confirm the promises to the Fathers, not to reconstruct them (Romans 15:7-9). Confirm means CONFIRM! He takes away nothing but reinforces every promise that God made to the fathers (Acts 3:22-26). Peter affirms that there must be a time of “restoration of all things” before Messiah returns. This “restoration of all things” is spoken about by all the prophets – meaning a final regathering to the Land of Canaan and repentance leading to salvation in Jesus (Amos 9:11-15; Jeremiah 36:26-28).

Israel has always been God’s vehicle of world redemption (Romans 9:1-5). In a way, she is God’s microphone, the means by which He speaks to a lost world. Moreover, she has birthed all God’s covenants into the world and has now come back to her ancient homeland, by the promise of the Abrahamic Covenant, to birth the final great covenant of history, the Davidic Covenant. Herein lies the ultimate purpose of her modern-day restoration. Jesus will return to Zion as the root and offspring of David (Revelation 22:1-6; Psalm 2:1-12; Psalm 72:5-11).

No wonder the conflict over Zion is so great. Our ministry, partnered with you, is removing the stumbling blocks from Zion and thereby preparing her for the arrival of her great and most blessed King (Isaiah 62:10).

Replacement Theology is thus an instrument of the powers of darkness to frustrate the purpose of God, by disconnecting the Church from this final great redemptive initiative in history. We reject it and stand fully on the promises of God concerning Israel and the Church.
