The Rapture Is Found In God’s Grace

The following message is a reprint.

As instability increases in the Middle East and the  prophesied destruction of Babylon, Iraq  (Jeremiah Chapters 50 and 51), is on the horizon, believers in the Lord Jesus Christ should be looking upward with ever greater expectancy for “the Blessed Hope” promised in Scripture.

Quoting from Titus 2:13 in the New Testament we read that we are to be, “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”

A companion verse found in I Pet. 1:13 reveals that the “blessed hope” spoken of in Titus is in fact a holy promise of a particular act of grace that is to be brought to the Church on the day of Christ’s appearing.

Quoting we read, “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your “hope” fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

The word “grace” in this passage refers to an act of favor or a gift. It is something which is given without having been earned by the recipient. This is in contrast to the earned rewards promised in the Scriptures to believers who have faithfully labored in the work of the Lord.

The pertinent question which needs to be answered in this study is “What exactly is the blessed hope of grace which is to be bestowed when Jesus Christ appears to His Church?”

To those who have already come to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and have been born again by the Holy Spirit, the answer to this question should be of profound interest. According to such Scriptures as the ones found in Rom. 3:21-25, the initial act of God’s saving grace takes place at the precise moment a person trusts in His Son, Jesus. Immediately a new believer becomes justified and righteous before God.

Quoting from Romans we read, “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God which is through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth to be a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.”

What has been disclosed thus far in the Scriptures is that there is to be a first and second instance when God will demonstrate His saving grace (unmerited favor) towards His Church. The genesis of eternal life commences the moment a believer is born again by an act of grace, while the completion, though indivisibly connected to the initial moment of salvation, will be experienced by a second act of grace when Christ appears to them. It is this latter portion of God’s saving grace for the Church that the Lord has designated with the stirring term, “the blessed hope.”

As we reflect upon the divine words of Scripture that reveal the glorious truths about the Rapture, we must keep in mind the question of foremost importance which is, “What act of grace takes place at the appearing of Christ to His Church – what is the blessed hope?”

As the Scriptures have revealed, the initial portion of God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ is demonstrated by the forgiveness of sins and the rebirth of the spirit of a believer (see John 3:1-8). A believer in Christ literally becomes a new creation at that moment.

Quoting from II Cor. 5:17 we read, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” At this point a Christian is a diamond in the rough.

As we will show from Scripture, “the blessed hope” of every believer will be realized during the concluding portion of God’s saving grace when at Christ’s appearing He will miraculously transform their corruptible, mortal bodies into immortal, celestial beings like unto Himself. This blessed hope will be the fruition of His initial act of grace.

This fact wholly refutes erroneous teachings that Christians must purify themselves in order to be counted worthy of the Rapture.

There are those who maintain that the Church must go through a part of, or even all of the 7 year Tribulation Period which immediately precedes the physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth “when every eye shall see Him” ( Rev. 1:7).

The reason most often presented to defend this heretical teaching is that Jesus’ forgiveness for His born again believers is limited and that the Church will need to be purified of its sins. This they insist must be accomplished by the horrors of the tribulation under the Anti-Christ. Only then, they believe, will the Church truly be worthy to be taken to Heaven by Christ.

The Rapture is part and parcel of the Lord’s grace. It is an act of unmerited favor. No conditions are presented for any believer to merit physical redemption.

The Scriptures are the only authority on this matter of worthiness.

In Rom. 7:15-25 the Apostle Paul expounded on his dilemma of having a duel nature since his new birth in Christ. In verses 24-25 he sums up his (and our) situation and gives praise to the Lord for the deliverance from his wrestling mind (which is intertwined with the spirit according to Eph. 4:23) and his unredeemed flesh, “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God – through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.”

Paul looked only to Christ for the deliverance of his body from death. Paul was looking forward to the day of Christ’s appearing to His Church when whether alive or dead the Apostle’s body would be redeemed from the corruption of sin.

Speaking of this blessed hope, Paul wrote in I Cor. 15:49-53, “And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed – In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

Paul would have been appalled by those who now tech that corruptible flesh must somehow earn merit in order to qualify for the Rapture of Grace.

In Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians he addressed a number of points concerning the greatly anticipated moment of God’s concluding act of grace for the Church. Central to the revelations he shared about the Rapture is the placement in time for the resurrection of dead believers. Paul assured them that the dead in Christ would not be resurrected later than when living believers received their glorified bodies. No limitations are given concerning the resurrection and glorification of the saints as far as God requiring some further purification or atonement for sins. If this were so then every believer’s body waiting in death is at risk of remaining in the grave forever. Thank God for His grace.

Quoting verses 13-17 of I Thess. 4 we read, “but I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” Paul then concluded in verse 18 by saying of this blessed hope, “Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

We pray that you truly have found comfort this day in the promise of Christ’s soon appearing for His Church to glorify every believer whether struggling or victorious, living or dead and to take them home to Heaven with Him where they belong.

Quoting verses 18-30 of Romans 8 the Apostle Paul sums up that which we have attempted to share in this message. “but if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Sprit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?”

If you have repented of your sins and received the Living Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and have believed that your sins have been forgiven by His blood that He shed on the cross almost 2,000 years ago, then you are eternally saved and your body will be redeemed by His grace in the very near future. Eagerly wait with perseverance for this adoption. This is the “Blessed Hope.”

Understanding Matthew 24

In verses 1 & 2 of Matthew 24 Jesus directs His attention towards the white and blue marbled temple which was then standing in Jerusalem and prophesies of its destruction. A short time later Jesus would be crucified upon the cross for the sins of the world and within 40 years His prophecy of the destruction of the Temple would be fulfilled to the letter by the Romans. Not one stone was left standing upon another, just as Jesus prophesied.

In verse 3 the concerned disciples of Jesus ask 3 important questions from their Jewish perspective. Referring to Jesus’ remarks in Matt. 23:37-38 & 24:1-2 about the future of Jerusalem and the temple they ask, “…when will these things be?” They then inquire, “And what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” This was in response to Jesus’ revelation in Matt. 23:39 that He would soon be leaving them. They were Jews who were inquiring about the return of their Messiah and when He planned to establish the kingdom which God had promised to their forefathers. The disciples were already aware that it would be established at the end of the age, but they desired to know exactly how long it would be until that day. It must be kept in mind that the future Church, which would one day be comprised of both Jews and Gentiles, is not the subject being discussed, nor is it even in view in Matt. 24. We find this truth revealed in John 7:39, “But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”

Unless this important point is grasped, a proper understanding of Matt. 24 will not avail itself to a student of Bible prophecy. It is a fact that the first record of the Gentiles receiving the Holy Spirit and uniting with the Jewish believers is not recorded in the Scriptures until after Christ’s death and resurrection in Acts 10:44-48 & 11:1-18. Although all Scripture is given to believers, Matt. 24 was written with a Jewish focus.

In verses 4-12, referring to a time called “the beginning of sorrows,” Jesus warned of the signs that would preclude the judgment of Jerusalem and His return. These signs run parallel with those Jesus gave in Rev. 6:2-11 for the first 3 ½ years of the 7 year Tribulation Period designated for the close of the age.

In Matt. 24:13-14 Jesus promises that those who endure to the end will be saved and that the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world before this end will come. Jesus was not talking about believers being able to lose their salvation in verse 13 as some erroneously teach. It is just a clear and simple statement to the Jews that those believers who manage to survive until Christ returns will be physically saved (see Zeph. 3:14-20).
In verse 14 we were told that the gospel (good tidings) of the kingdom will be preached to everyone in all the world. We are shown in Rev. 14:6 that this incredible feat will be accomplished by an angel. Up to this point in time the preaching of the gospel was exclusively conducted by mankind. Matt. 24:15 then makes a clear demarcation point to the Jews for recognizing the middle of the 7 yr. Tribulation period when Jesus warns that the “’abomination of desolation” spoken of by Daniel the prophet [will be] standing in the holy place” (Dan. 9:27). This reference relates to the Temple and the worship of the Jews, not to the Church.

Verses 16-20 further emphasize the Jewish believer’s relationship with Matt. 24 and the Tribulation Period when Jesus specifically addresses those in Judea and those who are obeying the Sabbath laws. Before the Tribulation Period begins God does not recognize a separate body of Jewish believers within the Church according to Rom. 10:12, Gal. 3:28 & Col. 3:11.

Those who try to put the Church on earth during the Tribulation in Matt. 24 are in a major dispute with the Scriptures as to why God is independently recognizing Jewish believers in a separate manner, when His word in 3 different places unquestionably denies that such a thing is possible during this dispensation.

In Matt. 24:21-22 Jesus again emphasizes the horrifying events of the Tribulation Period and that it will be only because of His returning to the earth that people will be physically saved from destruction. Continuing on we find that Matt. 24:23-31 has absolutely nothing to do with the Rapture of the Church before the Tribulation Period begins and everything to do with the Second Coming of Christ at the close of it. The passage once more directly answers the questions of the disciples concerning Christ’s Second Coming. He tells them unequivocally in verse 29 that this time period is when He returns “immediately after the tribulation.” Verse 30 can be directly cross-referenced with God’s Word for the tribes of Israel found in Zech. 12:10-14.

In Matt. 24:32-35 Jesus tells the disciples that all the things He had been speaking of would be fulfilled in the generation that witnessed when the fig tree puts forth its leaves. The fig tree is a symbol of national Israel which was restored in 1948.

Mark 11:11-22 reveals a direct relationship between the greening of the fig tree and Jerusalem. It is necessary to understand that the fig tree produces fruit before the leaves, when reading this passage from Mark. Jesus was entering Jerusalem to receive the fruit of Israel’s faith (see Luke 20:9-16). They had a display of duty to God when He arrived, but no true faith. It was not their fruitful season when they would receive the Son of God. In these last days collective Israel once again has had Jerusalem and the holy sites returned to her care, and just like it was at Christ’s first coming there is still no fruit. The parable of the fig tree in Luke 13:6-9 is a companion passage representing both Christ’s first coming as their rejected Messiah, and of Israel’s coming great time of tribulation when she will be made ready to bear the fruit worthy of her Creator upon His return (Jn. 1:1-5 & 10-14).
It should be remembered that it was within the 40-year generation after Jesus prophesied of the destruction of Jerusalem in Matt. 23:36-38 that His words came to pass in 70 AD. The things that Jesus had been speaking of in Matt. 24 are what the Jews are to look for regarding the signs of His second coming and the end of the age, signs which we as the Church would be wise to recognize are upon us since we will be Raptured 7 years before Jesus returns.

We now come to the portion of Matt. 24 in verses 36-44 that initiates some of the greatest debates. Referring in verse 36 to what Jesus had been speaking about previously (that is His Second Coming and the end of the age) Jesus said that no one knows the day and hour except His Father. Verses 37-39 compares those who were unprepared for the flood of Noah’s day to those who will be unprepared for Jesus Christ’s Second Coming. Verses 39 & 40 (along with verse 28) are not misplaced references regarding the Pre-Tribulation Rapture as is sometimes taught. They are placed precisely where they belong with the preceding references to the flood as an earlier judgment of God, which is presented as a counterpart to the final judgment for the close of the age found in II Pet. 3:3-7 and also for the second coming of the Lord. The righteous were left to inherit the earth after the flood and the wicked were removed according to Gen. 7:21-23.

The word for body in verse 28 is “carcass” in the original Greek. It is an error to try to connect this Scripture with the Rapture of the Church. Carcasses are bodies which are fallen in death. It is a contradiction to the Word of God found in I Cor. 15:44-54 to say that carcasses are caught up to God at the Rapture. Instead verse 28 of Matt. 24 tells us that these dead bodies will be found at Christ’s second coming among the gathered eagles, which are vultures. The noble picture we often see displayed of birds of prey does not change the fact pertaining to their scavenging natures.

Matt. 13:41-43 makes this truth abundantly clear that at the close of the age, immediately after the Tribulation, it is the wicked that are removed for destruction and those found righteous are the ones left behind. Matt. 24:31 also tells us that at that time God’s elect (the believing Jews which have been the main people of focus in Matt. 24), are to be gathered together by angels. They will be returned to Israel not only by the angels, but also by men to receive their promised inheritance of the kingdom. The elect will be brought by any means possible, according to Isa. 66:18-20&23. Isaiah 66:24 again reveals the truth that the corpses of the ungodly will be gathered together from the face of the earth.

Verses 42-44 of Matt. 24 reiterates the point of verse 36 that those living at the time Jesus Christ returns, will not know the hour of His return and that His coming will be like a thief. Some believe that this proves Matt. 24 presents the Rapture of the Church. They argue that if these particular Scriptures referred to the Second Coming then they wouldn’t make sense. They point out that people will most certainly be able to figure out the exact time Christ will return at His Second Coming by noting when the abomination of desolation that Christ and Daniel spoke of is set up in the soon to be rebuilt Temple and then just counting down the days recorded in Dan. 12:11-12. The error in this logic is that Dan. 12:11-12 makes no reference that the numbering of days which are given are the same as those of the day and especially the hour of Jesus Christ’s second coming (Mark 13:33-37 & Luke 12:36-40).

We would have to agree that these are indicators of tremendous happenings and could very possibly include the return of Christ, but it is still an assumption and not scriptural that Christ will return at the end of one of the two numerical countdowns given in the Book of Daniel.

More importantly though is what the Scriptures do say! Reading in Rev. 16:15 we find our proof text. The time given in Rev. 16:16 is at the close of the great Tribulation Period just prior to the nations being gathered together for the final great war of Armageddon. We quote, “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” In like fashion of the Rapture before the Tribulation, there will be a limited number of believers at the second coming of Christ who will understand the urgency of the times they are living in and will be prepared for the day Jesus comes, while everyone else will be disbelieving or oblivious (see Rev. 3:3, I Thess. 5:4-11 & II Pet. 3:3-4).
Matt. 24:45-51 then closes with the parable of the faithful and evil servants. The faithful servants are those who are believers. Their faith is manifestly evident by their words and Christ knows their heart. The unfaithful servants are those who are aware of what the Word of God says, but do not truly believe they will one day soon give an account. This is a picture of the two types of people to be found among the Jews in particular at the close of the age.

It can also be used to illustrate the two types of people that will be found within the Church at the time of the Rapture. Verse 51 is the key. There we are told the evil servant will have “his portion with the hypocrites.” The Greek word for hypocrites “hupokrites” denoted a stage actor. The evil servant is nothing more than an unbeliever who knows what is in the script and can even recite every line, but the fact remains he is nothing more than just another actor who reveals his true self when he grows weary of playing the role.

For the Church, Matt. 24 is rich with instructions and is overflowing with prophetic revelations. To the Jewish believers of the Tribulation it is a prophetic blueprint for the trying days they will soon enter and a brilliant light of promise that those days will be shortened by the return of their true Messiah Yeshua, the Lion of Judah (Rev. 5:5).

Today is the day to repent and trust in the atoning blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Don’t delay.

Jimmy Swaggart and the Cross

11 Timothy 3:1 and 3:13, warn  “…that in the latter days perilous times shall come” and “… evil men and seducers shall wax worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

In 1997, Jimmy Swaggart boldly claimed that the Lord had given him a new revelation of the cross.  As the Gospel is everlasting, there cannot be any new revelations given to the Church.  Therefore, Jimmy Swaggart’s  claim is in total opposition to the Word of God.

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”  Jude 1:3.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.”  Hebrews 13:8.

Furthermore, Jimmy Swaggart’s cross is not the cross of Christ.

Many have voiced concern as to the strange white outlined “crosses” on the red carpet in Family Worship Center’s auditorium. These six white “crosses” run between the pews leading up to the “platform,”  where they can be walked on. This  is a practice the Knights Templar were accused of.  Also, the “crosses” have been designed to include an arrow at the top of the cross pointing downward.   It is interesting to note that the downward pointing arrow is clearly visible to Jimmy Swaggart and others from their positions  on the  “platform” when preaching  their “message of the cross.”   See the six “crosses” at:

Further cause for concern are the graphics used for the 2011, and 2012, Crossfire ‘Generation of the Cross’ international youth conference which includes the cross of Lorraine (ancient cross of the Knights Templar,)  disguised as a man with outstretched arms standing in front of a cross, and the sun symbol (symbolic of illumination and enlightenment.)

The emblem of the Lorraine cross  was also used by alchemists as a symbol of earth and spirit by combining the square earth cross with the cross of Christ.  When drawn symmetrically, it is symbolic of  “As above, so below.”

Crossfire Youth Ministries now have a new website and have changed the above mentioned graphics for their 2012 international youth conference.

The Lorraine Cross is also very cleverly depicted on the spine of Jimmy Swaggart’s Bible Commentaries along with a capstone above the cross and a V below the cross.  Those with discernment will recognize that this is a symbol for As Above, so Below, (see The Evangelist, December, 2012, p. 41.)  And like the “crosses” on the carpet at FWC, this symbol is very easily overlooked.  Interestingly, this double cross is also worn by the 33° initiates in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

The Lorraine Cross can also be seen on the cover of Raising A Modern Day Knight Training Guide and Devotional (see Raising A Modern Day Knights Templar).

On November 5, 2012: After a three week absence Francis Swaggart returned to her host chair and a new set. This new black and red set is very dark, mysterious, and mesmerizing, more suitable for a ritulistic ceremony than a Christian television program. The round table in the center of this garish set should send up a red flag as the “object” on top of the table, when viewed from a certain angle, is a Knights Templar cross. (See Francis and Friends program archives at  )

Knights Templar Crusader Cross.

When considering the ‘crosses’ at JSM and his false teaching of putting ones “total “Faith” in the Cross to the conclusion of everything else” (Jimmy Swaggart’s comments on Matthew 10:38, The Expositor’s Study Bible, p.1664.), a teaching which excludes the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, it is evident that  Jimmy Swaggart’s “Message of the Cross” is a doctrine of demons.

An in-depth expose of Jimmy Swaggart’s teaching on the cross is posted at:

These are the last days and the only question which remains critical at this point is, are you ready for the close of the Church Age and the glorification and gathering together of the body of Christ?

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.  Then we who are alive  and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And so shall we ever be with the Lord.”  I Thessalonians 4:16-17.

You can be sure right now by repenting of your sins and putting your faith in Jesus Christ who paid the full penalty for the sins of the world by shedding His precious blood on the cross.  Your trust in Him alone for your salvation can assure your  receipt of this blessed  atonement.

Apostasy Called Revival – The Rise of Celtic Spirituality

Throughout history the Church has recognized that the dominating false world religion and government prophesied of in Revelation Chapter 17 for these last days would come forth from the old Babylonian and Roman Empires.  This political/religious partnership, described in greater detail in Revelation Chapter 13, will reach its zenith during the establishment of a seven year covenant with Israel.

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifices and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”  Daniel 9:27.

Current events overwhelmingly support that the present-day European Union, which originated in Rome, Italy, with the signing of the Treaty of Rome, is indeed the prophesied restored Roman Empire, which will bring forth the last day’s world dictator.

“Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that an’-ti-christ shall come, even now are there many an’-ti-christs; whereby we know that it is the last time.”  John 2:18.

The Roman Catholic Church is a major forerunner of this end-time Babylonian harlot religion, which will unite in full power with the European Union in its final push for world dominion.  Her purpose at present remains the same as when she assumed the authority and power of the decaying historic Roman Empire within her courts.  That is, to unite apostate Christianity and pagan religions together for allegiance to the restored Roman Empire, through the common roots found in the ancient Babylonian mystery religion.  She is a bishop on the last day’s chessboard, but remains a disposable piece all the same.

The great city of the harlot will be destroyed sometime at the end of the first three and one half years of the Great Tribulation.

“And he sayeth unto me, The water which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.  And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.  For God has put in their heart to fulfill His will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.  And the woman that thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:15-18

The anti-Christ and his followers do not hate religion as a whole, since it is essential to their final demand for worship.  They just hate having to carry this particular religion which will have served its limited purpose.

The final form of Satan’s religion, which will rise to prominence after this point will be the deadliest of all and will be the system which demands that the world worship the anti-Christ through the authority of the second beast known as the false prophet.

“ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  And he excerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; which had a wound by the sword, and did live.  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”  Revelation 13:11-15.

In order to effectively consider leading candidates for the religious system that exists in the world today which could more specifically fulfill the role of the last day’s religion of the anti-Christ, the Church can only pray for discernment.  The belief system, which will overshadow the false religions of the earth during the closing hours of this age will display a perverted form of Christianity and will have at its core the belief that it is the worship system which will produce its own messiah in replacement of Jesus Christ.

Its belief system roots must go back to ancient times of spiritualism and mysticism.  At present the primary candidate seen with these credentials is the Celtic Apostolic Church (The Emergent Church)1, which first appeared in Great Britain around  500 AD, and is growing in power and prestige at a phenomenal rate. The roots of Druidic paganism are deeply entrenched in the Celtic Church, which can be verified by the fact that St Columba’s own motto proclaimed “Christ is my Druid.”

St. Columba was held in high regard by leading false prophet of ‘The Latter Rain Movement’, William Branham. On his pyramid-shaped tombstone, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, are inscribed the names of the seven churches of Revelation and seven men.  If the two faces of the pyramid juxtaposed one over the other, the fourth church and man listed is Thyatirean – Columba.

Dr Rowan Williams, the man expected to be the new Archbishop of Canterbury, England, who will lead the 70- million-strong Anglican Church around the world is involved in Druidic paganism.  In an early morning ceremony Dr Williams was inducted as an honorary white druid.  The ceremony took place “in the face of the sun, in the eye of light” while druids chanted “a prayer to the ancient god and goddess of the land”2 at the start of the Welsh National Eisteddfod at St David’s, Pembrokeshire, Wales on August 5, 2002.

At this time, 2002, the spiritual figurehead of this pagan religion is HRH Prince Michael of Albany, Head of the Royal House of Stewart, who claims that on November 4, 1985, under International Law the president of the International Parliament (Mediterranean Security), endorsed by the United Nations, ratified his legal right as Head of the Celtic Church of the Kindred of Saint Columba.  Prince Michael also boldly claims that his titles were verified as legitimate titular claimant to the Throne of Scots and legal Pretender to the Throne of Great Britain.3

Additional recognized titles claimed by this prince are Knight Grand Officer of the Supreme Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (S.M.O.T.J. is a modern-day order of the Knight Templars), Knight Grand Commander of the Chivalric Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem,4 and Prince of Jerusalem.5

Daniel 9:26 may be significant to ponder in light of Prince Michael’s belief that the Royal House of Stewart, known to this day as the Royal House of Unicorns [is this why the word unicorn has been inserted in the KJV over the Hebrew knowledge of wild ox?] , are descendants of the Jewish kings of Judah6 (is the anti-Semitic belief known as British Israelism), and the specific title of  Prince of Jerusalem from the House of Stewart, when considering the anti-Christ’s role as “the prince that shall come.”  Of additional interest is that Michael claims to be Grand Protector of the Order of the Dragon for Great Britain and the English speaking world7 and President of the European Council of Princes.8

Prince Michael also claims to be the 57th Archpriest and Temporal Head of Scotland’s ancient Druidic-Christian Church of the Culdees, and that Polish born Pope John Paul II acknowledged his right to the Polish Crown (Michael claims to hold the title of Prince of Poland).  Michael further claims that Pope John Paul 11 invoked God’s abundant blessings upon him as leader of the Celtic Church and Knights Templar.9

Please note with all of Prince Michael’s “claims” I do not believe he is the anti-Christ .

If the Celtic pagan religion is the belief system of these last days, which will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ, then patterns and evidence of footholds within so-called Christian enclaves should be evident.  Those who have discernment will find names of persons, religious rites, and symbolic representations directly associated with the Celtic Apostolic Church have been introduced into an extensive number of Christian assemblies.

One such name that is being put forth is Smith Wigglesworth, who is held in high esteem by many in Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches.  At Family Worship Center, Jimmy Swaggart has dedicated one of his buildings to Wigglesworth.  It is also of interest to note that Oral Roberts University (Oral Roberts was a 33 degree freemason)graduate Gabriel Swaggart, grandson of Jimmy and Frances Swaggart, is featured on the front cover of the Evangelist wearing a pagan Celtic cross necklace.10

The Celtic cross is among the most cherished Celtic symbols in Ireland.  They are another emblem of the ancient premise “As above, so below.”  The ring at the center is what makes Celtic crosses  so unique.  In the ancient pagan Celtic world, the circle/wheel represented many sacred things…balance and harmony between the male and female, the sun, the life cycle, wholeness, the cycle of the seasons, energy of the female force, and the eternal connection of all things in heaven and on earth.

In 1947, Smith Wigglesworth gave the following “end time “rare” prophecy.”

“During the next decade there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the Church in Great Britain.  The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.

…there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen.  It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and Welsh revivals of former years.  The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.”11

In opposition to Smith Wigglesworth’s “rare prophecy” of a great revival, the Scriptures reveal that in these last days there will be a great falling away with men holding to a form of godliness while denying the power of Christ’s blood shed at Calvary.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”  II Thessalonians 2:3.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”  II Timothy 3:5.

In fact, at this late date, the only “great revival” that has come forth from the shores of the United Kingdom which is reaching Europe and the rest of the world is a revival of Celtic spirituality.

Many prominent writers and charismatic church leaders are urging the people of Europe to return to their Celtic roots in order to foster reconciliation between the Celtic peoples.  In a book published in London, the author  Martin Robinson, Director of Mission and Theology for the British and Foreign Bible Society, pointed out the importance attached to Europeans recognizing that the growing reunification of  Europe is not only connected with Celtic history but also with their beliefs.

“Recent events in the history of Europe have forced us to reconsider what we mean by the term ‘Europe.’  In the period between the end of the Second World War and the fall of the Berlin Wall ‘Europe’ often meant the very different Europes of the West and East.  The growing reunification of Europe allows us to look again at what a common European culture, history, heritage, and home might mean.  Europe can once more be seen as a culture which has interacted in particular ways with other cultures and continents in the world.  The shift in focus from two Europes – one broadly liberal and democratic, the other communist and totalitarian – to a single Europe which sees itself as a part of a broader Western culture, but distinct in particular ways from North America, allows a reconsideration of the elements that caused a common European story to emerge from the multiplicity of stories owned by the various tribes of Europe.

In this context, the contribution of the Celts is now better understood.  They are no longer seen as simply forms of the faith that existed in Celtic lands, but which were then overtaken.  Their active role in shaping larger parts of Europe is now recognized.  In a purely historical sense their role and reputation are rightly restored.  But the present interest in the Celts seeks to go beyond a merely historical restitution.  Their contribution to the shaping of our past is just as challenging as restoring their place in history.”12

George G. Hunter III, Dean of the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism, and Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky, affirmed the absorption of all things Celtic by people, while expressing an astute observation that it is not readily apparent that people are recognizing the Celtic source of their attachments and inspirations.

“…we can see enough parallels between the Celtic era and ours to understand the growing interest in Celtic Christianity.  A renaissance in Celtic music, Celtic art, Celtic dance, Celtic love of nature, and Celtic spirituality is already underway.  Sometimes, though it is difficult to discern whether people are consciously plugging into Celtic Christianity or simply latching onto some of its themes without regard to their probable Celtic source.

For example, eighteenth-century Methodism grew remarkably among England’s working poor people, who did not fit into the refined Church of England culture, whom Establishment Christianity largely ignored.  John Wesley went to great lengths, through observation, interviews, and correspondence, to understand England’s unchurched populations.  Methodism, like Celtic Christianity before it took root and became contagious almost everywhere in the open air.  Wesley’s movement practiced the ministry of hospitality and welcomed seekers into the fellowship of Methodist class meetings, and even Methodist societies, before they believed or had experienced anything.  Most of them “caught” the faith from the fellowship…

Methodism formed its people in ways reminiscent of the Celtic five-fold approach.  Methodism engaged people’s imaginations through Charles Wesley’s poetry and the folk arts of the people.  Early Methodism adopted the people’s kind of music, and many sang their way to faith.  Like the movement spawned by [Celtic St] Patrick, Wesley’s movement believed it had recovered the original apostolic mission to pre-Christian population…

Celtic Cross dedicated to John and Charles Wesley, located on St Simons Island, Georgia.

The second half of the twentieth century experienced a widespread renewal of many features of Celtic Christianity.  Ian Bradley observes that some of the most influential Christian writers of the twentieth century, like John Ballie, Pierre Tielhard de Chardin, and Thomas Merton were drawing from a distinctively Celtic theological vision…

Some Christian movements today, such as Revelation Church in the south of England , are consciously informed by a Celtic vision…Revelation churches involve their people in soul friendship, small groups, lay ministries, the ministry of witnessing, and in cross cultural mission…Revelation Church is discovering ways to communicate through visual symbols and creative arts.

The Jesus Movement in Australia is also consciously Celtic in its roots and vision.  The movement began around 1970, under the leadership of John Smith, as an outbreak of indigenous evangelistic and prophetic activity in Irish pubs, coffee shops, art communities, folk music communities, hippie communities, and in debates on race and justice on college campuses.  The movement evolved into an apostolic order in cooperation with several Australian denominations.  The Australian Jesus Movement targeted people in (and beyond) the fringes of establishment society…Smith would organize an itinerant team of a dozen to thirty or more people to engage a community for days.  Team members let their hair grow long, traveled on motorcycles, and when appropriate, wore hippie shirts…Many team members were etched with Celtic Christian tattoos, which Smith recalls, “stimulated questions everywhere!”…

Some Christian movements, such as the Alpha course from Holy Trinity Church in the Brompton section of London, may be unconsciously informed by a Celtic Christianity.  The Alpha course served for over a decade, as Holy Trinity’s introduction to Christianity for seekers who want to “sniff around,” “kick the tires,” check out Christianity, and try it on for size.  In the early 1990’s, the church’s leaders introduced other church leaders to the course and its growth has been remarkable – from 5 registered courses in 1992, to 10,000 in 1998 – in 72 countries.

Finally, not many churches are yet following Christ to reach the receptive New Barbarians who are all around them!  Nevertheless, the Celtic Christian movement that won the West for a second time has shown us many ways for reaching the West for a third time.”13

Leaders within the apostate church refer to “reaching the West for a third time” by the Celtic Church, as the “third wave.”  The “first wave” being the evangelization by this early church with its Eastern-influenced spirituality, led by [Celtic Saints] Patrick and Columba.  The “second wave” began in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, with Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley, and George Whitefield being the principle figures of this movement, which became known as the Great Awakening in the American colonies, and the Evangelic Revival in the British Isles.  The “third wave” of Celtic spirituality gained further prominence around the world in 1906 with the Azusa Street Revival.  British Israelism believer, Charles Fox Parham (Father of Pentecostalism), played a central role.  Then in the 1960’s and 1997, Celtic spirituality gained even further influence around the world with the emergence of the Jesus Movement, the New Age Movement (repackaged Celtic spirituality), and the Hebraic Roots Movement.  The Hebraic Roots Movement, will lead many into the bondage of the ungodly Noahide Laws.

Most, if not all, of today’s front-line Christian organizations use the counter-culture/social/political model of the ancient Celtic Church as a tool to “evangelize” the world.  The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan, formally commissioned by the GCOWE (Global Consultation on World Evangelization) 2000 conveners in September, 1988, is a blue print for the spiritual, social, and political agenda designed to usher in the one world religion.  This is evident when reading:

“Offer the hand of friendship, respect, cooperation, love, compassion, understanding, and dialogue to our fellow human beings and fellow religionists in the great world religions of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism, Baha’i, Shinto, and numerous others…While differing in our beliefs about God and Jesus, we can all nevertheless struggle together against the monstrous evils that plague our planet, threaten its survival, and so render world evangelization futile.”

David B. Barrett, Todd M. Johnson, Leslie Brierly, Patrick J. Johnstone, Gary K. Clark, John S. Mbiti, Tom Forrest, CSsR, James W. Reapsome, V. David Garrison, Lamin Sanneh, Jay E. Gary, H. Vinson Synan, and Manuel J. Gaxiola, are listed as working group members of the Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan..14

It may be significant to note that the introduction to Frank Bartleman’s book Azuza Street, Bridge Logos Foundation, 1980, which calls for an ecumenical unity of all believers, was written by Vinson Synan.

Not all are blind to the Celtic influence being introduced into the churches but in fact are advocates of its allure.  In an article from a popular ecumenical magazine it was reported that:

“Throughout England, charismatic leaders are adopting the ancient Celts as a new ministry model for the 21st century.  Roger Forster, pastor of the Ichus Church in London and a leader of the March for Jesus movement, refers to Patrick and other Celtic saints as examples of “radical” Christianity.

Excluding its ancient evangelical nature, Celtic Christianity cuts denominational, nationalistic, and physical boundaries in presenting the gospel.  Catholics and Protestants, traditionalists, and charismatics all are inspired by the saints…

Andy and Jane Fitz-Gibbon lead a renewal community based in New York.  They share their own insights in their book Prophetic Lifestyle and the Celtic Way

“A ‘new Dark Ages’ presents us with a greater challenge than faced by the church since the collapse of the Roman Empire,” they write.  “We can no longer assume even a passing awareness of Christian tradition and culture.”

The church’s evangelistic task is aimed at a new paganism, they point out.  And in some ways, they note, the church has been here before…

The division that stirs misunderstanding about the Celtic movement seems to occur naturally along spiritual lines.  In the church, inquirers will find a Christ-centered, charismatic, Celtic-style spirituality.  In secular society, inquirers will discover a myth-and-magic movement with a few saints thrown in for good measure.

Indeed, the Celtic movement in the wider world beyond the church is a strong one, offering a bizarre mix of pagan and pro-Christian mythology.  British newspaper The Telegraph reported last spring that Celtic culture has been gaining ground in postmodern Britain…

Despite the flurry, the evangelistic and meditative cry of the Celts may well continue into the 21st century, like an echo from the past.  Some Christians say we ignore it at our peril if we mean to take the gospel successfully into societies that have increasingly withdrawn from the church to seek their spirituality elsewhere…

For evangelist Steve Hill of Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida, the heart cry of the Celts was heard while he rode on a ferry across the English Channel…Hill later received prayer at London’s Holy Trinity Brompton Church…and he went on to play a key role in what has become known as the Father’s Day Outpouring at Brownsville assembly in 1995.

The cry of the heart that the Celts sounded…is being heard again, and it is the same call today as it was at its birthplace on the misty green hills and rocky coasts of ancient Celtic lands.  It is still the sound of revival.”15

An example of the “outpouring” from Brownsville Assembly was reported in the June 19, 2000, edition of the Pensacola News Journal Today. The article revealed that at Sunday’s Brownsville Assembly of God service “thunderous wailing, shrieking, and howling surged.  To a beating drum waves of pandemonium swept the church.  For almost 20 minutes, people raced through isles, danced, laughed uncontrollably, jumped, jerked and collapsed…[John Kilpatrick, pastor of the assembly stated] Now, that’s how it should be.””

The Word of God clearly warns of these demonic manifestations that are taking place in churches across America and around the world.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”  I Timothy 4:1.

Another fearful example of the “outpouring” was reported to have taken place in 1997, during an ecumenical gathering in Cork, Ireland.  At this meeting, lead by four renewed church group leaders, Peter Anderson (Anglican), Tom Hoban (Good News Fellowship), John Keating (Christian Centre), and Doug Heffernan (Celtic Prayer Centre), spirits were invoked and those in attendance were encouraged to return to their Celtic roots.

“On the Saturday a leaders lunch was held in the Celtic Prayer Centre, which saw the coming together of Anglicans, Methodists, Presbyterians and the independent Christian groups.  Wes [Campbell] again ministered and encouraged those gathered to be open and expectant of the REVIVAL that the current RENEWAL was leading towards…

On Sunday morning we were entertained by John Scotland.  John is one of the most unusually anointed people, in his case, he has continuous symptoms of being drunk in the Spirit.  He is amazing to watch!  He had everyone take another drink and enjoy the presence of the Spirit.

The climax was on Sunday night when Wes  came running out into the hall in full Braveheart [Sir William Wallace, Scotland’s greatest hero] regalia.  Roaring to the sound of the celtic music he talked about standing for Jesus and possessing our land and FREEDOM.  It was fantastic and many were really challenged to lay hold of our WARRIOR FAITH and declare war on the enemy.”16

Sadly, many are deceived into believing that these bizarre actions are the result of being filled with the Holy Spirit, but Scripture refutes this contention and instead exposes such behavior as being demented or demonic.  These same demonstrations of spirit possession are readily identifiable in many pagan religions including voodoo.

Such demonic manifestations were also evident at “revivals” in Europe and America during the 17th and 18th centuries.  Among those influencing these meetings were George Whitefield, Francis Asbury, Charles Finney, Count Nicholas Zinzendorf, Jonathan Edwards, and John Wesley.

“Of particular importance to Wesley was the outpouring of the Spirit in Everton [England] during the summer of 1759…what he found made a profound impression on him, to the extent that he made occasional references to it in his Journal throughout the rest of his life.  In one of his first references to it (July 29, 1759), he quotes a very long account of the work of God in Everton, probably by John Walsh who wrote:

…The Lord was wonderfully present, more than twenty persons feeling the arrows of conviction.  Several fell to the ground, some of whom seemed dead, others in the agonies of death, the violence of their bodily convulsions exceeding all description.  There were also great crying and agonizing in prayer, mixed with deep and deadly groans on every side…

A child seven years old, sees many visions and astonishes the neighbors with her innocent, awful manner of declaring them.””17

Roger Ellis and Chris Seaton, leaders of Revelation Church in England, acknowledged the Celtic origins of these “signs and wonders” when they wrote:

“there was in Celtic Christianity much that charismatics and Pentecostals would recognize today.  Increasingly, historians are beginning to acknowledge that the growing body of evidence for miracles occurring today must influence their view of the Celts’ accounts of miracles….

Just so, there is something about the flowing together of spiritual streams of anointing that works toward strengthening and deepening of a move of God in a nation.  We can apply this principle to contemporary “wells” with which we are familiar.  The streams of revival from the wells in Toronto, Canada, Pensacola, Florida and Argentina in South America have flowed into our nation across denominational boundaries in recent years.  Likewise, there have been tools like Alpha, Cities of God, and March for Jesus that have either stimulated or been enhanced by local church unity.”18

The anti-Christ will operate in the greatest magnitude of what the deceived will believe are the true signs and wonders and gifts of the Spirit.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”  II Thessalonians 2:9.

The one true God, the living Lord Jesus Christ, did ordain individual leaders for His Church.

“And he gave some, apostles; some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”  Ephesians 4:11-12.

Today, many are caught in the deception of the Celtic Church’s “five-fold-ministry” approach, which replaced Jesus Christ with their own false apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, who then serve as the people’s lords.  These false teachers “…appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.  Even so ye also appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”  Matthew 23:27-28.

To the body of Christ who have been deceived into following and supporting these false prophets the Word of God declares:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?  And what communion hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Ba-li-al? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?  For ye are the temple of the living God: as God hath said I will dwell in them, and walk in them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord.”  II Corinthians 6:14-18.

In closing, there seems to be no other religion on earth, which can serve the purpose of Satan so fully in these last days than the one spawned from pagan Celtic beliefs.  From its reach to the nobles of Europe to its inroads in countless so-called Christian franchises the supernatural powers of evil await the final establishment of her unholy glory.

Update 2011

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”  Acts 20:28-31.

In the 2002, message Apostasy Called Revival – The Rise of Celtic Spirituality it was stated:

“If the Celtic pagan religion is the belief system of these last days, which will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ, then patterns and evidence of footholds within so-called Christian enclaves  should be evident.”

At this late hour there is further evidence that the ancient Celtic pagan religion, with its roots in British Israelism, eastern mysticism and paganism, is the belief system that will amalgamate apostate Christianity under the anti-Christ.

The Israel Supreme Court.

Built in 1992, the Israel Supreme Court, with its  numerous masonic symbols has at the center of the parking lot pathways shaped like a pagan Celtic cross.   It is important to note that this building was  not funded or designed  by the  Jewish people  but by the  Rothchilds (British Israelites – those who say they are Jews and are not) and then only after they were allowed to use their own architect and choose the location.  The Israel Supreme Court sits in Jerusalem.

Thanks-Giving Square

In 1976, Thanks-Giving Square, founded by Peter Stewart, opened in Dallas,Texas.   The square includes a  “Chapel of Thanks-Giving” (resembling theTower of Babel,) with a “Glory Window” in the shape of a Celtic spiral.  This  is symbolic of the agenda to unite religions under the umbrella  of the anti-Christ and the one world religion. Which is evident when reading their mission statement.

“Our Mission Statement is Rooted in Human Spirituality

Our mission is twofold:

To witness, celebrate, and to promote the value and spirit of thanksgiving for both sacred and secular cultures throughout the world…Thanks-Giving Square serves as a common ground, a sanctuary where there can be a confluence of faiths and traditions in discussion of shared concern… citizens from diverse backgrounds can use thanksgiving as a way to heal divisions and enhance mutual understanding.

Our mission is carried out through our programs of education and research:

Cooperating with religious, cultural and educational organizations in educational and cultural programming.

Develop and operate the MultiFaith  Exploration and Exchange Program, bringing together Dallas-area members of  more than ten world religions to discuss religious and cultural diversity and issues that affect urban life

Develop gratitude-education materials for use from preschool to university level.

Develop research and themes for presidential proclamations for the National Day of Prayer in the spring and Thanksgiving in the fall.

Hosting the National Day of Prayer breakfast and an annual Thanksgiving dinner.

Hosting meetings of the Thanksgiving World Advisors and seminars on thanksgiving and gratitude at various locations around the world, including Japan, Argentina, India, Liechtenstein, China and other countries.

Holding a Thanksgiving World Assembly for spiritual leaders from around the world.”

It is also noteworthy to mention that crop circles, appearing worldwide, are Celtic symbols.

Celtic Symbolism

In the United Kingdom many apostate church leaders openly admit to the fact that they are following the teachings of the ancient Celtic  Church.  One of the more prominent leaders,  Roger Ellis, head of Revelation Church, located in South London, and co-author of New Celts – Following Jesus into Millennium 3, was the main speaker at the ‘After the Rain Pioneer Conference’ held in the United Kingdom, in  March, 1996.  At this gathering, Ellisen couraged the conference leaders to engage in a national spiritual revival, based on the re-discovery of Celtic spirituality.  Ellis also encouraged the use of Celtic symbolism.

“Within the midst of this society, God is saying to the church that we’re going to have to learn a new language.  It’s a language of symbols…I love the Celtic statements of faith that were often drawn, that were contained within their crosses and within their symbols.  Drawings were used for kind of doctrinal statements.  That would be great wouldn’t it, if you went to speak at C.U. [Christian University] and instead of “let’s see your doctrinal statement,” they sent you a nice Celtic symbolism thing, wouldn’t it for a change?  That’d bless me to no end.”

The main symbolic representations being introduced into Christian assemblies are Celtic spirals.  The Celtic cross can also be found on many so-called Christian websites.

For those unfamiliar with the meaning of these ancient pagan symbols:

“The Celtic cross is among the most cherished Celtic symbols inIreland…  They are another emblem of the ancient premise “As above, so below.”  The ring at the center is what makes Celtic crosses so unique.  In the ancient pagan Celtic world, the circle/wheel represented many sacred things…balance and harmony between the male and female, the sun, the life cycle, wholeness, the cycle of the seasons, energy of the female force, and the eternal connection of all things in heaven and on earth.”

“The Celtic spiral design represents the natural form of growth.  In most cultures, past and present, it is a symbol of eternal life.  The whorls represent the continuous creation and dissolution of the universe; the passage between the spirals symbolize the divisions between life, death and rebirth.  A Celtic spiral that moves to the right symbolizes the sun and victory.   Celtic spirals also represent the dance of war for the Scottish Highlands.  The interlacing of continuous lines and spirals symbolizes the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds.  The never ending characteristic of spirals and loops symbolizes a never ending cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Many Celtic images can be found at “Christian” websites including Rick Warren’s Crave media web page.  One of which, the  Bold As Love  graphic, is very similar  in appearance to the Celtic graphic depicted on the front cover of Jimmy Swaggart’s Crossfire edition of  The Expositor’s Study Bible.  The only major difference is the Crossfire image depicts Celtic wings (Celtic symbol of freedom).

One of the first public displays of Celtic symbolism at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries appeared on the front cover of the December 2000, edition of  The Evangelist, when his grandson Gabriel Swaggart, was featured wearing a large pagan Celtic cross necklace.  Since that time numerous Celtic symbols including, the outline of the Celtic cross (Crossfire’s logo), Celtic spirals, and Celtic wings, have appeared on JSM’s web pages and materials.  The most blatant display of symbols are depicted on images posted on Crossfire Youth Ministries web pages, and Crossfire ministries tee shirts (see photos on Crossfire’s Facebook page.)

It is also interesting to note that Gabriel Swaggart is featured on his website  wearing a Celtic pattern fabric shirt depicting the Celtic double spiral.  The double spiral represents the equinoxes,  when day and night are equal, a sign of balance.

Since the posting of this message Crossfire Youth Ministries now have a new website and have removed many of the above mentioned symbols.

The most shocking graphic posted at JSM web site depicts the rampant lion, which has a face of a lion with a body more like a leopard and feet similar to a bear  (“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Rev. 13:2.) celtic spirals, a wing (symbolic of Celtic freedom), and at the bottom of this graphic is the top of an upside down cross.  The upside down cross indicates the rejection of Jesus Christ and is commonly used  by satanists and heavy metal rock groups among others.  This link has also been removed.

Wild Goose Festival

Another prominent leader of the “Emergent Church Movement,” Brian McLaren, who along with Rick Warren wrote the foreword to Dan Kimball’s book The Emerging Church: Vintage Christianity for New Generations, (Kimball believes, “we can learn from the Celtic approach”), is now like his British counterparts, openly promoting Celtic spirituality which can be verified by reading:

“Wild Goose Festival, June 23-26 – I hope you’ll come!

Having been in the UK the last week and met so many friends whom I originally got to know through Greenbelt, I’m all the more enthusiastic about Wild Goose, coming up in North Carolinain just over a month.  What’s Greenbelt?  It’s a festival of faith, art, and justice, planned and led by a fascinating group of Christian leaders in the UK, held every August.  (I’ll be speaking/hanging out there this year.)  What’s Wild Goose?  It’s a similar festival being planned by a similarly fascinating group of Christian leaders in the US.  I’ll be speaking/hanging out there as well.)  I hope you’ll consider being part of this first-ever Wild Goose festival.  It can play an important role in the emergence of a new Christian ethos in our land.”

“The Wild Goose is a Celtic metaphor for the Holy Spirit.  We are followers of Jesus creating a festival of justice, spirituality, music and the arts.  The festival is rooted in the Christian tradition and therefore open to all regardless of belief, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, denomination, or religious affiliation.  In adopting the image of the Wild Goose we recognize that in the current climate of religious, social and political cynicism, embracing the creative and open nature of our faith is perhaps the greatest asset for re-building and strengthening our relationships with each other, with our enemies, with our stories, our texts, and the earth.  In that spirit, in a festive setting, and in the context of meaningful, respectful, and sustained relationships, we invite you to create with us!”  “And yes, I will be camping.”

Among those scheduled to speak at this pagan Celtic gathering are Lynne Hybels (wife of Willow Creek pastor Bill Hybels), Jim Wallis (Sojourners) Tony Campolo, Jay Bakker (son of Jim & Tammy Bakker), Bart Campolo (son of Tony Campolo) and Frank Schaeffer (son of Frances Schaeffer.)

The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan

Most, if not all, of today’s front-line “Christian” organizations use the counter-culture/social/political/religious model of the ancient Celtic Church as a tool to “evangelize” the world.  The Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan, formally commissioned by the GCOWE (Global Consultation on World Evangelization) 2000 conveners in September, 1988, is the blue print for the one world religion.  We quote:

“Offer the hand of friendship, respect, cooperation, love, compassion, understanding, and dialogue to our fellow human beings and fellow religionists in the great world religions of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism, Baha’i, Shinto, and numerous others…While differing in our beliefs about God and Jesus, we can all nevertheless struggle together against the monstrous evils that plague our planet, threaten its survival, and so render world evangelization futile.”  (Kaleidoscopic Global Action Plan, A. 3, Responsibility.)

One of the many plans listed in this lengthy document is to place young people  in global leadership positions in-order to take over the churches.  This was confirmed by Roger Ellis during an interview with Noel Stanton, senior pastor of the Jesus Fellowship,UK.

When referring to these youth leaders, some as young as 18,  Roger Ellis stated:  “Some are real visionaries, who are getting discipled, released and moving on” and  “I am concerned about some smaller charismatic churches.  Either leaders of churches have to step out of the way and let younger people take it over or they need to diverify their ministry to create room for this lot to come on.  If they can’t do that, they disempower them and they become frustrated, and lose the pioneering edge.   We have to take the ceiling off the next generation of leaders and release them.”  New Celts, Youth Culture interview:

Pied Pipers

The following youth missions and seminaries are just a few of many who are indoctrinating the youth for these roles.

Youth With a Mission (YWAM) founded in 1960, by Loren Cunningham has a ‘Celtic Way Community’, located in Paisley, Scotland, where attendees are encouraged to “live lives of simplicity much like the Celtic saints.”

In an undated article titled, YWAM Portland, Oregon, Visits our Monastery, Celtic Monk Preston of the Prayer Foundation, revealed:  “Once a month, YWAM Portland has a day of prayer, solitude and contemplation,” and  YWAM missionaries, who visited Preston’s Celtic monastery dressed in monks robes, were then instructed in the practices of the ancient Celts by Celtic monks.

Seth Barnes, founder of the young adult’s missionary group AIM, promotes Celtic spirituality.  On his blog Radical Living in a Comfortable World, Spiritual direction: advice from a soul friend, Barnes shares a link to All Saints Parish, Celtic Spirituality website.

In September, 2010, Fuller Theological Seminary, taught an International Course in ‘Exploring the Celtic Heritage’:  “The spirituality of the Celtic saints offers a creative missional model for the 21st century.  This unique course will be based on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, off the coast of  Northumberland, England, and will combine reflection on mission in today’s world with space for personal reflection & spiritual nurture.”

Fuller Theological Seminary is now offering Summer 2011 Immersion Courses, one of which includes a 10 day trip to Ireland, where students are encouraged to: “Join us as we wander amongst sacred sites dotting the Irish countryside studying the birthplace of Celtic monastic spirituality, which still today has a significant influence on our worship practices…Worship God through contemplative prayer and song in cloistered spaces and under the wide canopy of Irish sky.  Examine the rich imagery and symbolism of Celtic crosses.”

The Brehm Center, working in tandem with Fuller Theological Seminary,  sponsors of integrated education in the arts, theology and worship  also promotes  Celtic spirituality at their website. “The Wild Goose Festival is a music, art and conversation festival at the intersection of justice and spirituality.  It is rooted in the Christian tradition seeking to welcome all regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, background or belief.  In the Celtic Church the image of the Wild Goose has long been held as a symbol for the wild, unpredictable, and untamable nature of the Holy Spirit…”

Nazarene Theological Seminary, in their spring, 2011, Course SPF 790 – Celtic Spirituality, introduces students to the “Christian traditions” of the ancient pagan Celtic Church.  “The renewal of interest in and even fascination with all things Celtic in recent decades begs the question:  What do so many find compelling about these peoples and their culture?  Embedded within the more well-known expressions of Celtic art, music, dance, and story are references to lesser-known spiritual traditions, both pre-Christian and Christian.  What characterizes Celtic spirituality and what is its relevance for Christian spirituality today?  In this course, these and other questions will be explored from the perspective of the Christian Celtic tradition.”

The most popular teaching of the end time apostate church is that the ancient Celts are the 10 lost Tribes of Israel.  This blasphemous teaching is know as British Israelism.

London Olympics Opening Ceremony – Celtic Connection

Glastonbury Tor, located in Glastonbury, Somerset, England, was put on the map when it became the most prominent part of the “Isles of Wonder” set of the London Olympics opening ceremony.  Unbeknown to the majority of international viewers, Glastonbury is the most revered of Britain’s ancient sacred sites, with a long association with the Celtic legend of King Arthur, and the underworld (the Celts believed Glastonbury is the entrance to the underworld.)  The Tor (Celtic for Hill) has seven terraces and when viewed from above, the terraces create a winding labyrinth path, which was rumored to be used for occult rituals including Druid initiations and goddess worship.

Another Spirit at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries

The anti-Christ will operate in the greatest magnitude of what the deceived will believe are the true signs and wonders and gifts of the Spirit.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”  II Thessalonians 2:9.

An article titled ‘Personal Notes from Easter Campmeeting Part 11,’ The Saviour is Waiting, reported that during the Easter 1997 Campmeeting at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries:

“Bro. Swaggart said, “Donnie come preach.”  Donnie came up and immediately started weeping.  You could hear people crying and praising God all over the place.  Donnie said the anointing was so strong over the place, you could get saved right where you were sitting, you could get healed right where you were, you could get baptized in the Holy Ghost right where you were.  He would try and regain his composure several times but it wouldn’t last, he’d start weeping again, then it turned to sobs.  It looked like something invisible was pulling him off the floor by the collar of his jacket.  While in this state Donnie gave a long utterance in tongues, and when he finished, he fell to the floor.”

“Something invisible” reported to be “pulling him [Donnie] off the floor by the collar of his jacket” is just one example of  demonic” signs and lying wonders.”

Another example of  “signs and lying wonders” took place in the dorms located at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries during a Crossfire Youth Ministries meeting in 2010.  Under the influence of  demonic spirits some are swaying back and forward, some are lying on the floor, and all in attendance are deceived into believing the eerie noise they are making is speaking in other tongues.   This is fearful!  See “fire fell in the girls dorm crossfire 2010 20” on youtube at:

The Scriptures clearly refute that which took place at the girls dorms .

“If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course, and let one interpret.”  1 Corinthians 14:27.

Sadly, many are deceived into believing that these bizarre actions are the result of being filled with the Holy Spirit, but Scripture refutes this contention and instead exposes such behavior as being demented or demonic.  These same demonstrations are readily identifiable in many pagan religions including voodoo.

Much prayer is needed for our youth in these lasts days!

Raising A Modern-Day Knights Templar

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”  I Timothy 4:1.

The Celtic “Church Militant”

In  Monasterboice, County Louth, Ireland, stands the West or Tall Cross.  This pagan Celtic cross is 23  feet tall, has a pyramid base, a rectangular shaft culminating in a capstone, and a large circle enclosing the arms of the cross, representing the sun, the life cycle, wholeness, the cycle of seasons, and harmony between male and female.

Among the many scenes carved on this cross is a blasphemous scene depicting Jesus Christ armed with a sword, shield and spear standing with a group of armed men.  This abomination is referred too as “the last judgment” or “the church militant.”

Those with discernment will recognize the pagan Celtic Apostolic Church’s false teaching of the “church militant” is well entrenched in apostate groups such as the Mighty Warriors, New Breed, The Call, Jesus Army, Joshua Generation, Joel’s Army who teach “God has a remnant of young people whose heart burns for Him.  They have been raised for such a time as this.  At JATC [Joel’s Army Training Center], you will not only be trained in biblical doctrine, but equipped as endtime warriors executing vengence upon the adversary,”  and those who advocate raising boys to become modern-day knights.

In 1997, Focus on the Family, published a book titled Raising A Modern-Day Knight: A Father’s Role in Guiding His Son to Authentic Manhood, by Robert Lewis.   This best selling book has made major inroads into the promotion of the Knights Templar and the  endtime apostate “church militant” by subtly introducing fathers and their sons to European medieval  warrior knights, including Knights Templar William Marshal, along with Celtic myths, mystical rites and ceremonies.

The dust cover of Lewis’ Raising A Modern-Day Knight should be a red flag to any Christian father as it depicts King Arthur’s magical sword Excalibah with a seal just below the hilt of the sword which, when using a magnifying glass, a Celtic mythical winged dragon circled by “EXCALIBAH KING ARTHVR can be seen.  Lewis brings further attention to the mystical Celtic legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table when he wrote:

“And who among us as boys didn’t thrill to the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table?  The knight survives in our collective consciousness like an ancient superman…In fact, I will be so bold as to argue that knighthood–despite some of its shortcomings—offers to any dad a powerful outline for his son’s successful journey to manhood.”  (Raising A Modern-Day Knight, p. 12.)

It should be of serious concern to any Christian father that Robert Lewis has chosen Knights Templar William Marshal as a role model for their son’s “successful journey to manhood.”

“William Marshall’s life is a study in chivalry.  For good reason, contemporary historians regard him as the ideal knight.”   (Raising A Modern-Day Knight, p.44.)

Britain’s  “ideal knight”:

Sir William Marshal, also known as William of Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke, while on a crusade with the Knights Templar vowed to join their order. On his deathbed Sir William fulfilled his vow and was invested into the order of the Knights Templar.  Sir William Marshal died on May 14, 1219, and was buried in the Round Church of the Knights Templar’s Temple Church in London.,_1st_Earl_of_Pembroke

It should also be of concern that the cover of Lewis’ RMDK Leader’s Guide includes a Knights Templar cross.  (RMDK Leader’s Guide, Robert Lewis and Sonlight Productions.)  And the cover of Raising a Modern-Day Knight Training Guide and Devotional depicts a shield with the Cross of Lorraine (ancient cross of the Knights Templar.)

Along with the promotion of the Knights Templar, Lewis encourages Christian fathers too return to the wisdom of medieval paganism by becoming bonded with other men through the mystical power of ceremony.

“In the Middle Ages, pages and squires became knights because they were part of a masculine community. At an early age, the page left home and entered into a mentoring relationship with an older man, usually a cousin or an uncle… Boys become men in the community of men. There is no substitute for this vital component. Dad, if your boy is to become a man, you must enlist the community…the community of men expands a son’s spiritual and moral sources… Bonded through the mystical power of ceremony, [they] become mentors to these young men.  (Raising A Modern-Day Knight, pp. 150- 151.)

The following is an excerpt of a mystical ceremony Robert Lewis suggests Christian fathers may wish to use for their sons “rite of passage” into manhood.  This pagan ceremony also promotes the unscriptural dominionist agenda of advancing God’s kingdom on earth.

“CHOOSE A PLACE THAT FEELS  SPECIAL AND EXCITING—The dads on the video choose to do their ceremony outside, at night, around a fire.  You might choose an outdoor setting like this or one indoors using a darkened room lit with candles or a fire place for ambiance.  Whatever setting you choose, it should add a special feel to the ceremony not detract from it.  It should feel mysterious, sacred, special!

AS THE LEADER, BEGIN THE CEREMONY—After going to your ceremony location circle the dads and sons together…At this point you must bring out and hold up an “Excalibah sword”….the sons will love this!…to illustrate two things:  That each dad is ready to commit to “fight the good fight” of helping his son to become a modern-day knight.  A son who…Advances the kingdom of God on earth.

INTRODUCING DAD’ PLEDGE—After each father has spoken, you as the leader will take the sword, hold it up, and say that each dad wants to commit himself tonight to his son…

THE DADS PLEDGE…When a dad is called out, he and his son will come into the middle of the circle where you will hand him the sword.  He takes the sword and grips it. His son places his hands over his dad’s.  Then as each dad looks into the face of his son, you as the leader will ask him to repeat after you these words:  I——, before God, commit myself to raise you—–, to be a modern-day knight…”  RMDK Leader’s Guide, SAMPLE DAD’S CEREMONY, Robert Lewis and Sonlight Productions.

Page, Squire and Knight

Jeff  Purkiss, founder of  Squires2Knights Ministries, a network of ministries equipping Christian men to mentor our sons, fatherless boys, teenage boys, and young men, as well as the author of a book titled Squires to Knights-Mentoring Our Teenage Boys, is also a proponent of  raising boys to become modern-day knights along with mystical  modern-day knighthood ceremonies where boys are presented with medieval crusader swords.  And, like Robert Lewis, he too promotes the Knights Templar, which is evident when visiting his website which has numerous pictures of young men in Knights Templar garb, as does the cover of his book.

In Standard Freemasonry, know as Blue Lodge Masonry, there are three degrees of initiation: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craftsman and Master Mason.  Chivalric orders like the Knights Templar operated on a similar system of graded initiation with Page, Squire and Knight.

Another connection to the Knights Templar was found on Jeff Purkiss’ website posted under “5 Responses to Modern-Day Knighthood Ceremony.”  This revealing e-mail was from Chaplain Paul Ready.  On May 17th, 2008,  Ready wrote:

“ Reverend Brother:

I am a military (civilian) chaplain with a number of organizations.  The Sovereign Order of Christian Knights Templar  provide the tradition, while others, such as Fellowship of the Sword, offer ceremonial guidance to our men and women serving as Christian Combatants on the fields of battle.  We provide everything necessary for the Vigil at  Arms, including Sword, Dagger, clothing, ring and shield for serious Christian Warriors intent on deepening their walk with the Lord.  Any information you care to share would be prayerfully appreciated.

In His Name and Service,

Brother Paul Ready, Prior,

Priory of Solomon’s Porch,

Sovereign Military Order of Knights Templar”   Predictably, this website is no longer available at this  time.

This response included a link (Chaplain Paul Ready) to a Knights Templar website which shares the following:

“We are a religious Order of knights, who trace the history of our Order back to ancient Scotland, where brothers of our Order fought under the banner of Robert the Bruce at Bannockburn.  The Templars under the edict of the Church of Rome fled from France to Scotland, where they continued the works they believed they had been called by Christ to complete.  We, as their spiritual descendents, carry on that work.  Our mission, as we believe imparted to us by DivineProvidence…”

Further evidence of the Knights Templar/Raising a Modern-Day Knight connection was brought to light by a member of the Knights Templar when he said:

“When we learned that Jameson was going to be a boy, his paternal grandparents Janet and Ken Richardson gave me a book about raising a son to become a real Man using the chivalric ideals of medieval Christian knighthood as inspiration and a role model.  This book by Robert Lewis is called Raising A Modern-Day Knight…

I started reading this book to Jameson yesterday and look forward to raising him to be my young Page, then a Squire or young Knight in training, and then someday hope to witness his investiture as a fellow Knight in the Knights Templar of Jerusalem.

One of my proudest moments as an adult Man was the day that my father attended my investiture as a Knight in the Knights of the Temple of Jerusalem or Knights Templar…”

Warrior Children

In their pagan Celtic book The Grail Castle: Male Myths and Mysteries in the Celtic Tradition, authors Kenneth Johnson and Marguerite Elsbeth, also use the Celtic legend of  King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable to promote personal transformation into manhood.

“Many Celtic Warrior heroes of old felt the powerful absence of the Father spirit in their lives, and many men of today find themselves in the same situation…Few Celtic myths describe for us a deep relationship between father and son.  In many cases, the father is entirely absent…Percevel’s father, a knight, was slain years before the beginning of the story…and King Arthur’s  father Uther Pendragon actually gave his son up to be raised in the woods…In their fatherlessness, these Celtic heroes have a special relevance for us in the twentieth century…”  (The Grail Castle, pp. 22-23.)

One of the main objectives of raising a modern-day mystical/warrior/monk is to remove children from  parental  authority by turning then over to mentors.

“Traditionally we must seek out a mentor among those who have followed the same path we seek to follow: if we aspire to be accountants, we must learn about the art (and the way of life it implies) from an older, wiser accountant.  A mentor is not the same as a father.  Our fathers are too close to us to play the role of mentor or initiator.  For that task, a certain amount of detachment is required, both on the part of the mentor as well as his apprentice.  This is because children (especially Warrior Children) tend to reject the aspirations held for them by their parents.”  (The Grail Castle, p. 26.)

“My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:”  Proverbs 6:20.

Graduate of Oral Roberts ( 33 degree freemason) University, Gabriel Swaggart, leader of the apostate Crossfire Youth Ministries, subtly introduced the attendees of his 2012 International Youth  Conference to the warrior/knight agenda with  graphics used in an advertisement  promoting this gathering.  The graphic depicts a crimson and gold fringed  banner with a pagan Celtic cross (Crossfire Youth Ministries logo), a head  of a  knight with a crown which  has three horns, along with a clear message  that these young people are  “Warriors  for Christ.” See the June, 2012, p. 19, July, 2012, p. 19, and  August, 2012,  p.19, editions  of The Evangelist published by  Jimmy Swaggart Ministries at:  It should also be noted that  Monday Night Fire,  a college, career, singles, couples ministry led by Gabriel Swaggart,  uses  a black and white medieval crusader shield  as their logo.

At this late hour there are many organizations who are encouraging Christian  fathers to follow in the footsteps of medieval warrior knights inorder to raise godly children.   This, Church of Jesus Christ, is an abomination unto the Lord!

One of these organizations, Band of Brothers,  admitted to the connection between the pagan British Celtic Apostolic Church and raising warrior children  when they wrote:

“We only sell products that we believe have real value in helping men live out the call on their lives.  We are big believers in symbols, that remind us of our mission.”

Included in their products is a “Young Warrior Pendant” for boys ages 10-17.  This is recommended as a gift for boys as part of their “Rite of Passage” into manhood.    The pendant is a sword shaped pagan Celtic cross ( Band of Brothers logo.)

Furthermore, the Celtic Prayer Foundation have not only given Robert Lewis’ book Raising A Modern-Day Knight a two page  book review, but when clicking through their site to purchase this book, they will then receive a portion of the sales to help maintain their pagan website.

It is fearful that these false prophets exalt the medieval warrior knights as righteous men when their lifestyle included drunkenness, bloodshed, debauchery and occult rituals that included the  worship of  Baphomet the satanic goat.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  Isaiah 5:20.

It is equally fearful when one considers the statement made by Robert Lewis published in a Focus on the Family magazine.

“I believe it is time to resurrect the chivalrous knight: his ideas, his process and his ceremonies.  I want him to speak to a new generation that has the potential for greatness but lacks only the opportunity: our sons.”  (Focus on the Family Magazine, June, 1997.)

Much prayer is needed for the children who are being led as lambs to the slaughter.  And once again the question must be asked, why the deafening silence from the frontline discernment ministries regarding raising  boys to become mystical/warrior/monks?

To the body of Christ who have been deceived into following these false prophets and their doctrines of demons the Word of God declares:

These are the last days and the only question which remains critical at this point is are you ready for the close of the Church Age and the glorification and gathering together of the body of Christ?
